Great day out. Spend 2 days between the 2 universal parks in our 1 week here. Must say we prefer universal to Disney, better for adults.
Advise would be get there early. If they open at 9am get there for 8.30am and be through security...More
Harry Potter World was by far the best part of our Universal trip. We are glad we purchased multiple day tickets as visiting with a child we wouldn’t have gotten our money’s worth with just one day. Like any amusement park, food and drinks are...More
For my family of 7 we are paying an average of $680.00 a piece. If I had not promised my grandchildren Universal I would not have gotten tickets. The tickets cost more then the house we are renting for 10 days! Never again
(Posting the same review here and on Island of Adventure because we went to both the same day.)
Universal was a lot of fun! We did 2 parks in one day, which was just enough time to do all of the things we wanted to...More
Sure, they nickel and dime you a bit more than Disney does, but the rides are a bit more thrilling. I've never left disappointed.More

Typically the week surrounding holidays, especially the weekends, are fairly busy. Personally, I would recommend Express Passes. However, if you prefer to wait until you arrive to purchase them after seeing the crowds and wait times you may absolutely do so! Express Passes can be purchased at any of our Pass Sales, Guest Services, and major merchandise locations. If you have any additional questions, concerns, or to purchase Express Passes please call our Online Ticket Store at 407-224-7840. We look forward to your visit!

We went in early August and it was great. It was hot, but not unbearable. It sprinkled one day for about an hour. The park wasn't too crowded and we had no issues with lines. We went each day to both parks Tuesday - Saturday. The only day that we felt was a bit crowded was Saturday. Even then we had no issue with lines.
Hello could you please give me a guideline to how many days i will need in each of the below parks as i am going for 14 days and want to make a itinerary planner it will be 4 adults taking a 4 year old child with us it will be our first time and we want to cover as much as possible. I would recomend 2 days at least for Magic Kingdom Epcot 1 day each for Animal Kingdom Disney's Hollywood Studios Universal Islands of Adventure That will give you plenty of time to have a few days to relax and also to re-visit any of the Parks you enjoyed and want to experience again :)

Hello Experienced Travellers & Residents, Do you mind if I ask for your thoughts about our itinerary? We're a family from London, and fly into San Francisco from New York on 24.08.16. Our flights are booked, as is our hotel in San Francisco. With the exception of that, and our flight out of Las Vegas back to London, we have considerable flexibility. We have come up with the below plan, and would be grateful for your thoughts as to places to stay, and things to do. There's quite a big...More

I wonder why a family who wants to Hang out by the pool would pay to go to Vegas to hang out in 110-120 degree F weather instead of the beaches and pools in Orange country and San Diego. But since you have tickets out of LAS. You have no choice Now SF Monterey Pismo Beach La Vegas would be better so cut a night off from SF I guess ( I would say Vegas is fine for 2 nights ) Did you miss our top questions. We have a highway one primer that talks about the coastal drive
