The cruse lasts about 1-2 hours and allows you to see the might St. John river which was one of the main ways people and cargo were transported before cars and roads were made plentiful in this country. The cruse people provide a good bit of information and point out wildlife along the travel. If it is cool or chilly... More

If you go in the heat of the summer don't expect to see alligators or manatees. It is too hot and they are underwater or in the shade. If you enjoy seeing birds and learning about the St. Johns' River, then go for it! Water and snacks available

I enjoy learning and I enjoy nature. This riverboat cruise is enhanced by great local guides and captains that know the area and the indigenous wildlife. I would have taken the same tour on the same day if my wife had been willing. I was fascinated. It was almost like being live in a National Geographic special. Our captain backed... More

The two hour cruise was skillfully narrated with lots of history and up-close wildlife encounters. Saw a manatee up-close and a variety of birds and 'Gators.

This is an "over the top," narrated cruise on the St. John's river. I have been on this cruise about a dozen times and always find it amazing. The last time, April 2016, we actually saw a manatee feeding. We've always seen alligators, turtles, and all sorts of birds including cormorants, and even the occasional bald eagle. This is not... Trying to catch all of Ol'Florida (egrets, herons, alligators, cypress...) Highly recommend the 2 hr St John River Cruise. We had Melissa as our guide & she totally made the whole trip worthwhile. So informative (she knows the name of all the birds, plant-life, trees and even places where the alligators hang out)everyone in the boat was hanging on to... More

Our guide was so interesting and did such a good job. She often backed up so we could see a particular bird or critter. The boat is covered. Try to get on the first cruise of the day.

This tour was great because the guide, Melissa, I think, was very helpful and would move the boat nearer so everyone could see the wildlife. And lots of wildlife to see, for sure.
