While it is very peaceful, the trails are very sandy and out in the open which makes it very hot walking or biking. The only other plus is how it is a perfect place for star gazing at night.

No, the unless you register as a camper you couldn't get in the gate for the evening, the exception is when are visiting someone camping and they let you in and out. This is standard with Florida State Parks. The campground... More

Despite the fact that I could see three cell towers in the distance I had no reception, it may depend on your server, at the time I had T-mobile.
