Absolutely a great place to visit if you have ever had any interest in drag racing, or classic cars.

Well worth the admission. Many more cars and displays than I expected. Don Garlits is an amazing man. He was at the top of his sport for about 30 years, and lived thru several... read more

I am sure my husband would rate this higher as he is a racing fan. I was nice to see the transition of racing and the cars. I liked being able to see the classic cars and the story/history behind them.

Well worth the admission. Many more cars and displays than I expected. Don Garlits is an amazing man. He was at the top of his sport for about 30 years, and lived thru several accidents that would have ended most racers career. It is all on display here, plus a collection of Classics, Antiques, and Muscle cars. There are days... More

Well organized and maintained this place is a time capsule that spans Don's 7 decade career and includes many, many other men and women that made major contributions to the sport. Big Daddy himself was present the day we visited and I was honored to shake his hand. If you are in the area (many will be soon for the... More

Many of his personal cars plus a collection of antique cars. Saw many unique cars that I have never saw before. A great experience for any car person.

I was overwhelmed with the details of each dragster. Each dragster had all kinds of interesting details about ETS and MPH at the quarter mile. The additional older cars that had been restored and the information on them was outstanding.

The highlight of the visit was the fact that Don Garlits was there to give autographs and pose for pictures with us. He was just great. There are so many cars in the main building that we didn't even have time to go to the other building. This is just a must-stop destination if you are anywhere near Ocala. This... More

If you love drag racing this place, in my opinion is a must see. All kinds of drag cars plus some of Don's personal collection. Last time I was there it was about $20 per person so it is a little pricey. I have been a few times and every time Don has always been there and has always been... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the collection! 90 antique cars were in one building along with countless other antique automotive items - gas pumps, license plates, tools, signs, steering wheels, dash boards and more! Everywhere you look, you see something. Super cool. The drag racing collection is outstanding! You can see the evolution of dragracing within two... More
