We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the collection! 90 antique cars were in one building along with countless other antique automotive items - gas pumps, license plates, tools, signs, steering wheels, dash boards and more! Everywhere you look, you see something. Super cool. The drag racing collection is outstanding! You can see the evolution of dragracing within two... More

While visiting Florida we were introduced to this auto museum by a local resident. At the time of my visit I didn't have a strong knowledge of the world of drag racing although I do appreciate vehicle collections and have paid many visits to the National Automobile Museum in Reno, the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles and similar. Don Garlit's... More

Incredible collection of racing memorabilia! So many drag cars to look at it's hard to believe Garlits had that many different race cars. There's a ton of visual interest, audio and reading material at this museum so you'll want to plan 2 to 3 hours for your visit to capture it all.

We were looking for a Cracker Barrel and there just happened to be one at this exit. Now my guy is a car guy; however I have to admit, I liked this museum. It was $15.00 a person to get in and we spent 3 hours there. We could have stayed longer but were on our way back to Ohio.... More
