We love to hike and this is the place for that. Miles of hiking, and single track biking trails to explore. Parking available with bathrooms. We certainly enjoyed this trail. Easy and very well marked. Park in the trail head area near the campground.

We dropped into Ocala on our way to Cocoa Beach because my husband had been missing his bike since it got cold in Minnesota. I had planned to bike too but electric bikes are banned so I couldn’t go. I have no idea why. He...More

Excellent ride on the paved trail! Rode solo, about 16 miles in length took about an hour of good riding each way. Some elevation change nothing major, I would call the hills mire like slopes than hills. Saw a number of parents with children. Winds...More

Most of the posts about the Santos Trailhead mention only the mountain bike trails, and use the word "awesome" in at least ever other sentence. The mountain bike trails are OK, but the big news is the magnificent (much better than "awesome") new paved trail...More

There is something for all skill levels here - Santos is just one set of a network of trails in the Cross FL Greenway. There is even a paved path for road bikes.

Love these trails. Something for everyone. Easy riding to expert level trails. Even a paved path for those afraid of the dirt, spiders and rocks. Fl greenways and the local Bike club work great together and it shows. My husband and I and many of...More

A nice paved trail along with some dirt ones goes out of here. We enjoyed a long walk here in December 2017. We encountered others on bikes and on foot and even some nice maintenance people with trucks that were very courteous.

The Santos bike trail recently opened a paved trail that wanders through the woods and over Interstate 75 that extends 16 miles from Belleview to Hwy 200 west of Top of the World. It is a great trail but beware that on weekends unexperienced bikers...More

We stayed at the Santos campground for 2 nights. That’s all could get as it’s usually full. Great quiet camp with a nice bath house. The riding here is unmatched in the state. The new paved trail adds a new dimension. The trails are all...More

I rode the trail in Ocala this particular section only 16 miles length. It is my understanding the trail across the state has many sections however they are not linked together to my knowledge

The trail starts at the Santos Trailhead, across the street from the bike shop. Next to the restrooms.
