At a temperature of 87 degrees, Warm Mineral Springs contains 9 million gallons of fresh water which replenishes itself every two hours. This natural resource is comprised of 51 minerals, which is the highest mineral content of any natural spring in the United States. The spring has been added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places partly because it is one of the most important underwater archeological sites in America. During exploratory dives in the 1950s, the remains of a prehistoric hunter and seven other humans were discovered in a very well preserved state. Similarly, evidence of several creatures have been extracted from the spring, including saber tooth tigers, giant sloths, tortoises, and even camels. Today, with a goal of increased wellness for everyone, Warm Mineral Springs offers a natural experience to residents and visitors alike who want to soak in the warm waters.

Old Florida at it's best. Mineral Springs to ease your mind and body. Beautiful grassy, shade or sun. The water felt cool and refreshing. Bring a picnic but coolers are not allowed. We unpacked our lunch and stuffed it into our back packs. Bring freezer packs to keep thing cooll, just no coolers of any type are allowed. Comfortable lawn... More

The smell was bad. Stayed 40 minutes. The water was not clean. I would not take kids😎can't take coolers in for water and no snack bar.

This a leisurely visit for people interested in the mineral springs....not a family beach trip. It is peaceful and fascinating with great people watching. Bring hat and a pool noodle and float away the day surrounded with primarily older population speaking various languages.

Worth the time to get there. It is somewhat off the beaten path but well worth spending several hours. When you first enter the is a strong sulphur smell but you don't notice it after a few minutes. They have downsize the extras from previous years and I do miss the spa feature of having a massage and lunch.

Warm Mineral Springs is a nice relaxing place. Dated but well maintained...if you don't come expecting a 5 Star resort, you will very much enjoy the place. Clean facilities, very friendly staff. Highly recommend it!

A warm mineral spring is always a treat. This attraction has been open for decades, yet many locals have never set foot here. Go patronize this unique southwest florida natural wonder. It is worth it to soak your cares away.

Had always wanted to check this out and despite some of the negative reviews, we took a chance and drove down from Siesta Key. Loved it. Was exactly as described - a warm mineral spring, natural and undisturbed. The facilities are good enough - adequate bathrooms and showers. They were old but clean. Plenty of lawn chairs, parking and a... More

The people and atmosphere made me feel quite comfortable as did the warm mineral springs. Rooms at the hotel were nice for the price.
