At a temperature of 87 degrees, Warm Mineral Springs contains 9 million gallons of fresh water which replenishes itself every two hours. This natural resource is comprised of 51 minerals, which is the highest mineral content of any natural spring in the United States. The spring has been added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places partly because it is one of the most important underwater archeological sites in America. During exploratory dives in the 1950s, the remains of a prehistoric hunter and seven other humans were discovered in a very well preserved state. Similarly, evidence of several creatures have been extracted from the spring, including saber tooth tigers, giant sloths, tortoises, and even camels. Today, with a goal of increased wellness for everyone, Warm Mineral Springs offers a natural experience to residents and visitors alike who want to soak in the warm waters.

My husband and I had heard about this spring and we were visiting in the area so we decided to visit; glad we did! Seriously though, I don't know if we heard any English being spoken. Seems everyone was from Russia or thereabouts. I expected Trump and Putin to arrive at any moment. It added to the experience. People with... More

It was alright. The water murky, didn't really even feel all that warm to me. Like I said , been there, done that, won't be back. At $20.00 a head, can think of better things to do.

Went here while on our vacation. It was pretty warm outside, but the water was cool. I have been to other mineral/hot springs and would say that the smell is definitely toned down here. There are plenty of chairs to choose from and enjoy your time out of the water. Life guards are present, and there are sections for kids... More

When we arrived at Warm Mineral Springs we felt as if we were in a time warp in the USSR, half expecting Gorbachev to come out of his dacha (It's rumored Mikhail visited during his heyday). With Russian and Ukrainian conversations around us, and guests walking around in their bathrobes and slippers, it certainly was an unusual setting. The water... More

Supposedly, Ponce de Leon looked for this place, thinking it was the fountain of youth. The smell of sulfur is strong, the water is not that warm, and the water is brown. It cost a family of four $75 to get in. There is nothing to do but swim or wade in the water or sit in a chair around... More

Sorry but this place is really icky. I don't think the water was very warm and the water is dirty. It is a sinkhole after all.

We had a lovely day here, mostly spent floating in the springs. Very relaxing !!! Yes there is a very slight sulphur smell but you don't notice it after a few minutes. Definitely on our 'let's do it again' list.

Came here to experience something new from the area. There is a time stamp here of old Florida that hasn't changed nor need to change. Water was comfortable and having floating tube helps enjoy the water better. This is more of a therapy type of experience for you mind and body. Or like I was told, a spa like experience.... More

Old Florida at it's best. Mineral Springs to ease your mind and body. Beautiful grassy, shade or sun. The water felt cool and refreshing. Bring a picnic but coolers are not allowed. We unpacked our lunch and stuffed it into our back packs. Bring freezer packs to keep thing cooll, just no coolers of any type are allowed. Comfortable lawn... More
