Overview
More
At a temperature of 87 degrees, Warm Mineral Springs contains 9 million gallons of fresh water which replenishes itself every two hours. This natural resource is comprised of 51 minerals, which is the highest mineral content of any natural spring in the United States. The spring has been added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places partly because it is one of the most important underwater archeological sites in America. During exploratory dives in the 1950s, the remains of a prehistoric hunter and seven other humans were discovered in a very well preserved state. Similarly, evidence of several creatures have been extracted from the spring, including saber tooth tigers, giant sloths, tortoises, and even camels. Today, with a goal of increased wellness for everyone, Warm Mineral Springs offers a natural experience to residents and visitors alike who want to soak in the warm waters.

This is a terrific mineral spring hot pool, tons of minerals.. that adhere to your clothes and to your hair. If your going underwater, wear a swim cap.. The smell stays a couple of days. Nice few hours walking around the pool, chairs to relax,...More

I've been here several times and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience each time. Warm Mineral Springs is an unspoiled and a little known destination even to Floridians. They don't advertise so you're not likely to see any tourists. I happened to find out about it...More

A fabulous place to go daily to improve health immensely. The old woman is rude. The young man is lovely. A super 1950s place to spend the day.

Well, this place just reminded me why I left Russia 20 years ago, where customer service was non-existent. Where to get something you had to constantly face never ending rudeness. We drove to this park for 3 hours in hopes to have some nice relaxing...More

Tried this since we were staying at the Warm Mineral Springs Motel. The area is very beutiful, like a big park with old big trees around the spring. I expected the water to be a lot warmer, so I had to swim around a lot...More

We spent five days at this location. It has been determined that this is the location of Ponce DeLeon's Fountain of youth. The Water here is not really warm like a hot spring. It does smell strongly from minerals in water. Folks contend that they...More

Ok, this is a Florida's classic, return to the past or whatever you want to call it. There are plenty of signs telling you how to get there, there is plenty of parking, no charge for parking. For a single visit you pay $20/adult and...More

You have to pay to get into the area. It’s twenty unless you are a resident of the county, then it is fifteen. I loved going and can’t wait to go back.
