This place was a gem. There weren't a lot of people there and the beach was amazing. We spent the day swimming in the small bay they have there. It was sheltered from the wind so the weather was perfect. We used the picnic tables nearby and the setting was just beautiful!!

We were flying back home in the evening, and were thinking how to spend our last day in Miami. Parking there costs only $6, it is totally quiet there, and the beach is very nice: sand is good for building a castle with a child, water is calm. So we have got corn, meat, and veggies for a picnic, found... More

This park has everything you want in a South Florida park ; fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, a beach for the kids, shaded picnic tables, you can BBQ and there plenty of parking!! If you don't have it or don't feel like hauling it there is a rental place in the park that has bikes and kayaks. And the best part... More

I love gooing to Oletta and taking my dog. The place is beautiful and one can walk with no leash. You have the river on one side and the intercoastal ob the other. There are places to barbecue if one wants but you need to reserve it. It cost I think 5 dolars to get in but it is well... More

Happened upon this place utilizing TripAdvisor recommendations for top attractions in area. We were staying in the congestion and noise of Sunny Isles. Couldn't believe the beauty and peacefulness of this park was less than 1 mile away. Lots of activity options including picnicking, water activities, camping, biking and just enjoying nature. Check out website to learn more on all... More

This was an amazing find! We went kayaking, Rented 4 double and one single Kayak, we couldn't have been happier with the experience. The staff is friendly, Especially Alan at the Kayak Return and the woman taking payment upstairs. They were both so helpful and patient!! We've already recommended our friends come here and we will continue to do so.... More

We live in Miami and have tried to make it here a number of times, but it seemed like something came up or it rained. We finally made it one Saturday. We started out doing some of the hikes since it was raining a little. After our walk we rented kayaks for a couple of hours. It was a little... More

Heard about this place from a co-worker. Decided to visit. Very impressed. It's nice for walking around and canoeing. I guess some people bike and fish and picnic. Very natural setting in the heart of this urban area and on the water. We canoed and just relaxed and enjoyed the morning. It doesn't take too long to see most of... More
