Went there on a rush and on a busy sunday. Long but speedy line to get in and also to rent sup and canoe. They have other rentals (kayaks, bikes). Lots of things to do, found out they also offer full moon activities (sup tours on the river) and sup yoga on sundays. Saw two food trucks and also you... More

I guess it's the closest State park to me. The beach is very nice. Has a pier for fishing or just looking around. Cabins for rent, picnic areas, mountain bike trail. You can rent a kayak or canoe. Also a launching place, so you can bring your own.

We had a wonderful time at Oleta River. There are so many things to do... from enjoying some time at the beach, to kayaking, canoeing and great bike trails.

This place was a gem. There weren't a lot of people there and the beach was amazing. We spent the day swimming in the small bay they have there. It was sheltered from the wind so the weather was perfect. We used the picnic tables nearby and the setting was just beautiful!!

We were flying back home in the evening, and were thinking how to spend our last day in Miami. Parking there costs only $6, it is totally quiet there, and the beach is very nice: sand is good for building a castle with a child, water is calm. So we have got corn, meat, and veggies for a picnic, found... More

If you don't have it or don't feel like hauling it there is a rental place in the park that has bikes and kayaks. And the best part... More

I love gooing to Oletta and taking my dog. The place is beautiful and one can walk with no leash. You have the river on one side and the intercoastal ob the other. There are places to barbecue if one wants but you need to reserve it. It cost I think 5 dolars to get in but it is well... More
