A great park in the middle of a busy city with lots & lots to do. It will definitely keep you busy the whole day. On our first visit we explored the trails, the sandbar, & a small island by kayak with still lots left to see for our next trip. Can't wait to start planning.

The park itself is huge and has so much to offer. There is a ton of picnic areas, trails for walking and biking, a beach area, scenic views and so much more. Kayak, canoe, and other rentals are readily available. The park is perfect for everyone including dogs!

I don't get the positive reviews for this place. It was crowded and dirty. Seriously, there was trash everywhere. The beach was filthy. Around every corner, someone was blaring Latin music. I will not be returning.

i went with my friends and it was just what i was expecting to be, it's a rustic place close to the city, we rented paddle boards and it was a very good exercise, easy to handle, the water is so calm that makes a mirror effect! it's beautiful around! as advise, you can put your cell phone in a... Have visited park several times. Each has been great. Park is clean and a beautiful view. Has several bike paths and canoeing. Kids fished and rode bike. We enjoyed it.

There is a huge parking lot, walking and bicycle trails, rental kayaks and canoes. There quite a schlep from your car to the beach if you are brining your food, umbrellas, beach towel and other equipment. You can rent cabins, pavilion for a party. There is a fee to enter the park - $6.00 for our vehicle. I think this... More

The water that surrounds the park is contaminated with spills from the sewer plant next door. There is regular reports of spills from the facility. That has been going on for years and has soaked into that whole region. We don't even kayak in that area anymore. Oleta for us is now just something in the past.

I love the beach here. Clean and not a large crowd as long as you go during the week. Parking is $6.00 and they offer kayak rentals. My friend and I try to go at least once a week.
