Learned about this attraction on Trip Advisor. My husband and I were visiting South Florida and we stopped by on a Friday morning. The entrance fee was $10pp. We enjoyed the quick video history about the cloister and enjoyed some of the artifacts on display in the reception lobby i.e., medieval Pope's cabinet, Knight's armor. The ground are well kept... More

If you are in south beach and have traveled to Europe .. Would not recommend it .. It's far and it's not nice but not worth the trip but if you are in the area you should definitely stop by ... It's serene, beautiful!!

When you ride by the Monastery on this little two lane Dixie Highway you know you're approaching a Colonial Spanish Florida gem. The place is beautifully restful.

The Cloisters are a beautiful setting with some interesting history. While this buklding was relocated from Europe in the 1900s, you would think it had been built in Miami hundreds of years ago. Beware that the site is open odd hours and is a little off the beaten path.

I really enjoyed this historic church and learning of its history. There were very few people during the week and the self guided tour is easy and at your own pace.
