Been to the Shell Factory many times. I loved looking at all of the knick nacks and decorative items. Also fun for children. Definitely a time passer.

The "shell factory" is primarily an over-sized souvenir shop. It is old and poorly lit, which is unfortunate, as there are some nice things in there. Their Christmas shop, for example, has a extensive collection of Dept. 56 and Jim Shore items. It's like looking for pearls in all the oysters (cheap Made in China trinkets). We didn't spend much... Admission is free but you pay by the piece. They have a small zip line that is good for kids or first timers. There is an animal park that we did not go into, the main thing here is the shell factory (gift shop). The place is huge with all kinds of things to look at or buy. There are... More

Hello, We appreciate you taking the time to review us. Being that we are so large there's always many things to do. While dogs are permitted I'd like to clarify they are not allowed in the Nature Park or inside Capt'n Fishbones but most welcome in many of the other areas. More

They offer packages for the attractions but not all were operating so it would have been a complete waste of money. We arrived at 10:15 am ( they open at 10) and the staff was just arriving and opening things up. We had to wait for them to set up. My son loved the zip-lining and did it 2x ($8/per).... More

This place has it all. Very old but a value for all. Kids love the zip line, bumper boats in the water, feeding the fish, playing the gems, jumping on the trampoline. The food is bar type. It has a great taste. Outside bar is great to watch kids from and have some food. The inside is great with museums,... More

lots to do at this 'factory'...there is a great nature park, gift shop, xmas shop, flea market, miniature golf, zip line and bar/cafe! the main attraction for us was the nature park which was great! not quite a zoo, but a great place to see the animals in a small and intimate space (there is even a petting zoo for... I always forget about this place, but saw it on groupon and decided to go. There is a lot to do here and I don't feel it is overpriced. The zoo portion is filled with lots of really neat animals. There is a small goat petting zoo as well over there. We did the zip line, which was super neat... More

Upon my recent visit to the Shell Factory I found the addition of a Zip Line and Antique & Muscle Car Shows. Food, Crafts and many things to see and do makes this a definite stop to see one of Southwest Florida's oldest attractions.

Wanted somewhere fun I could take my adult puppy to. Went early on a Sunday morning. Very quiet. Nice huge gift shop with a great selection ranging from clothing to jewelry, pet, and of course lots of shells and coral. They have a Subway restaurant and fudge shop. They have a couple other restaurants that include outdoor dining,as well as... More
