Just to say you have been there, it is a must stop. I have to say at first it is exactly what I thought which is a tourist trap and it can be. But it is much more, there is a fossil museum that was great and kept my 13 year old interest. The shop was fun to walk through... More

The Shell Factory is a very affordable attraction. Included with the nature park is a small petting zoo. (The goats were my favorites). There is an Eco Lab for snake lovers and a small aviary for those who love our feathered friends. And I don't want to leave out "Land of Dinosaurs", although I didn't visit that attraction. We also... More

Get up close to a lot of animals. Numerous aviaries that you can walk into and interact with the animals. Turtles, lizards, peacocks, goats, pigs and more. The kids can feed the animals. Take a break for lunch at their restaurant (nice varied menu with reasonable prices) then play put-put golf or take a ride on the zip line. Of... More

Spending a good deal of time in the Fort Myers area, we were curious about the Shell Factory & Nature Park. I grabbed a Groupon deal for this and glad that I did. The nature park is in dire need of a major update/rehab. It was rather depressing to see the animals in such small cages and in some areas,... More

Hello, We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with feedback. I would like to mention that we do provide our animals the best care possible. Our taxidermy display was actually donated to us. We understand not eveyone's experience may be the same but we hope that you are willing to visit again. More

We visited the Shell Factory and Nature Park on Monday and we had a blast. The shell factory is fun on list of little nick nacks but has a great section of fossils and history section. There is something for everyone in there. After that we went to the nature park and it was awesome. It wasn't very crowed so... More

Stopped here with friends recently. The facility is pretty big. On the grounds they have an animal nature park, restaurant , play area for children and a large building where they sell just about anything you can think of. There is a year round Christmas shop as well. To walk around is free and you just may find that strange... More

You will love the place if you want to go back into the 50's or 60's. Some of the stuff looked like it has been there that long. The ice cream is way over priced for the quality and quantity you get.

Its a old touristy spot that you can pick up some souvenirs and a bite to eat. They have a nature park and mini golf and a collection of various souvenir shops that all kind of connect so you get a little exercise in. It's a spot you have to see at least once or take out of town guests... More

This tourist attraction would be much more enjoyable if the Fun Park was well kept and well run. The Nature Park and Shell Factory were pretty good but the Fun Park was very disappointing. The employees were trying so hard to accommodate everyone...there were only a couple of people running all the activities and they were CLEARLY OVERWORKED! I felt... More
