Brian goes above and beyond to make sure you leave with plenty of memories! Our favorite part was all the knowledge he shared. We learned everything from names of shells and vegetation to the history of the area. Brian doesn’t just drop you off at the beach. He goes with you and helps you find the best shells and takes the pictures! Brian knows everyone and is well liked. We met some great people and he took us to the coolest places. He has been living and working in this area for over 20 years. So rest assured that the info you get is accurate! Brian creates an experience that is both fun and relaxing! Something for the whole family! We will call Brian again!

We had a wonderful morning with Captain Brian and his daughter. The group was made up of my husband and myself; our daughter ,her husband and our little three year old granddaughter. We were all enthralled by the wild life . Watching the pelicans dive into the sea after their prey was an amazing spectacle and the elegant frigates glide across the blue sky - majestical. We spotted dolphin, manatee, starfish, blue crab and a tortoise that was evidently on a mission. We also saw the rare sight of a frigate perched on the dock. Seemingly this was a very rare sight.
We had a great lunch at Cabbage Island Inn and a great chat with Captain Brian and his daughter.
How good was this trip ? Well it held the attention of us all ,and especially a three year old , for four hours. Not to be underestimated. Would definitely recommend this trip.

We went shelling with Capt Brian and are very happy with our experience. We’ve gone shelling in the past but previous guides have stayed in the boat. Capt Brian is different but in a way we appreciated. He gets out of the boat, talks about the wildlife beyond shelling (ecosystem, mangroves, tides, different wildlife, etc), and can help you find/identify the different types of shells. Our kids (5 and 8) had a blast and learned a lot. We’ll be booking with him again!

Brian was amazing! We have been coming to Captiva with all of our children for the last 7 years when we met someone who recommended shelling on the island about 30 min from here. Brian took us all (5children!) and they had the time of their lives!! We went to a private island and went shelling and the kids did not want to leave. We then went to eat at Cabbage Key and climbed the light tower!
What a memorable experience- it
Literally made the trip! We will be coming back to Brian EVERY time we come here.

My husband and I and our two kids (6 and 9) spent a half day with Captain Brian. He took us to many different places including North Captiva, Cayo Costa and Cabbage Key (lunch - super good). I have never seen so many dolphins in my life. It was amazing. Although we had quick stops at many places it was so cool to see all the different islands. Captain Brian was so knowledgeable on the area. He was super laid back and we all were comfortable talking and joking with him! My favorite part of the trip was going to Cayo Costa and getting so many amazing shells. It was quite sunny there so we didn't say long. Next time we are in Sanibel we will book a full day. Well worth the money. Thanks so much Brian!

We had an adult child and 8 year old and Brian was wonderful! He knows all the history, animal &’plant life. He’s a wealth of information and our absolute favorite part of trip was seeing several pods of dolphins and a young baby dolphin. It was the most amazing experience.

We also did Cabbage Cay and had a delicious hamburger. The island has great history and our daughter loved seeing the gopher turtles.

Highly recommend a trip with Brian to make your Captiva vacation complete.

My husband and I, along with two friends, had an amazing afternoon with Captain Brian! After reading numerous positive reviews I expected a good experience. However, I didn't expect such a *GREAT experience!* We all HIGHLY recommend Captain Brian!

We zipped along the water to Cabbage Key for lunch, learning local and island related information. The meal experience on Cabbage Key was incredible! The sightseeing along the various islands was beautiful, informative, and fun! All the islands we saw, including N. Captiva, were in surprisingly good condition after Ian's visit only 13 months prior. (Sanibel and Captiva were in great condition, as well.)

All four of us had an incredible experience visiting some of the 'Old Florida' haunts. Being a native Floridian, I was very proud to return and see beautiful, natural areas of Florida that hadn't been taken over by development. We all loved our time and experience with Captain Brian. It was the absolute best day of our 8-day trip!

My family had an exceptional time with Captain Brian. We saw lots of wildlife (like Frigates, dolphins, and sharks) and also appreciated Brian's shell expertise. My kids are really into shells right now, and Captain Brian was able to help them identify everything they found. We also learned a ton about the history of the area, and the influence of the Calusa civilization. Thank you!!

Captain Brian is the BEST! We have been out with him twice and my daughters (12 and 14) say this is the highlight of our trips. He takes you to remote locations to find unique and unusual shells. On today's trip we saw dolphins and manatees. He's so easy to work with and makes each trip fun and different. I cannot recommend him enough. It's worth every penny!

Captain Brian is a real gentleman. You can tell he respects the environment and the animals. I am a semi professional photographer and was able to get some excellent shots, especially of the Osprey. Mainly, he’s just a nice guy who you will enjoy spending a few hours with.
