This morning we took the Buck Key tour led by Dawn. We had 8 people aged from 75 to 9 years old. Dawn was extremely knowledgeable about the local surroundings and wildlife and made it interesting for the kids as well. We saw plenty of wildlife including dolphins, crabs, fish, shark, birds and the icing on the cake was a... More

We had a great 2 hour tour of the bays and mangroves in the area. Saw manatee, lots of birds and waterfowl. Stephen, our guide, was very knowledgeable and engaged in pointing out local sites, history of the area, and more. Take a cell phone or camera for pix but be sure to have a waterproof cover!

Our family took the 4 hour Tween Waters trip (10 people ages 9-67). The trip is moderately strenuous, so you should have some experience paddling to make it enjoyable - recommend using double kayaks, wear long sleeves and a hat, bring plenty of drinks/snacks. During the trip, we collected shells and saw tons of wildlife including a bonnet head shark,... More

We previously reviewed this in August of 2015 as a nighttime tour (look for bioluminescent plankton) and we thought we would try something different. We rented a double kayak and a single SUP for the three of us (two adults and a 14 y.o.) and we went off into the mangrove trail on Buck Key. We've been on kayaks and... More

Six of us took the night time paddle boarding excursion with Stephen Plein as our tour guide! It was very fun and a great learning experience about the island, the vegetation and the ocean life! We saw manatees, fish and got to walk on the flats and see and touch lightning whelks! We even got a ghost story from Steve... More

I kayaked with Adventure Sea Kayak with my husband and three boys (2 teenagers and a 20-yr-old) 2 months ago and have been meaning to write about our experience. I have all positive things to say. In a nutshell,.... great, friendly guide (Bob), beautiful surroundings, educational, and just plain fun! Bob even took some pictures and then emailed them to... More

We loved this tour last year, but this year had a very different experience. Our guide Steven started out great talked about the history of the channel and some sealife. Then he started paddling straight out to the middle and didn't notice or care that four of the tour were having a very dificult time keeping up! It was impossible... More
