Top night out. Kids racing at 6pm on Mondays and Thursdays. Arrive early to get a table for dinner then watch it he crab racing. They do an adult version at 9pm. The guy who runs it is bonkers so makes it great fun, so let's not as you can appreciate his NY humour!!! Whole family had a great time.

It's a must if your visiting captiva, period. The announcer makes sure everyone has a great time, the food is great, and half the proceeds in the crab races go to the United way.

It was difficult to enjoy our meal due to the noise from this activity. It was to be expected, though, and it was fun for the kids. Personally, I think it should be a kid activity... adults were very aggressive during the family show.

After reading some reviews here, we decided to check out the nascrab crab race experience at the Crow's nest. Decided on the earlier start time, 6pm since we were with young children. It did take a long time for them to get started, but our kids had a great time. The host guy - master of ceremonies guy, was hilarious... More

Everyone has to see this show at least once in their lives! It takes awhile for people to purchase their crabs and name them, etc. BUT it's worth the wait!

What a cool place for a drink and watching the "crab races"--they have one for the kiddos and later for adults. Nuts, but fun. Drinks were great.

This was our second visit to The Crow's Nest for the crab races! The food is pretty good, not great. Try the flat bread pizzas. The crab races are a great source of entertainment for all ages. Try to be there no later than 5 for the 6pm show so that you get a good table and one of the... More

Saw this spectacle recently for the first time. They would be much better to feature live music or a DJ or something. The lead MC makes this last much too long, insults most guests and then you watch crabs race. if you are in to that - this is your place.
