We took the Cabbage Key cruise and we're not disappointed. The hour plus trip was smooth and informational. We ate a nice lunch on this richly vegetated but sparsely developed island and took a brief walk around the island. On the cruise back we were escorted buy packs of jumping dolphins!

Took the Cabbage Key cruise. A nice 4 hours of sit back and relax. The boat ride to Cabbage Key is just over an hour. You an sit inside downstairs or out on the top deck with tables. A bar and snacks are offered ( for s price which is fine). Ran into a few small groups of dolphins who... More

Our son had booked us a sunset cruise with Lady Catwick boat.It not only was a perfect trip with the most beautiful sunset but extra bonus was we had 5 dolphins swimming beside the boat after we took off.Had a man playing the guitar which was wonderful voice. It was smooth sailing all around.

The boat and the crew were nice. However, we paid for a shelling cruise.,..,not one word was said about shelling. I expected to learn a little bit about shelling on a shelling cruise....instead we were basically given a boat ride to an island and dumped to "go find some shells"....during high tide! Ha! We stayed on West Gulf Drive in... More

We used Captiva Cruises to book a private day trip around the local islands. Our captain was excellent - a real class act. Gave a wonder tour, had plenty of information about the area and put us on the best shelling I've ever experienced! Highly recommend them for touring, cruising or fishing!

While in Captiva, my wife and I booked a cruise to Useppa Island. The ride over was very smooth. There was narrative on the way over with an emphasis on the dolphins swimming around the boat. There are drinks served there and back from the island that you choose. The other choice was Cabbage Key. They drop you off and... More

The only reason i do not give it 5 stars is because we booked the tour to the island, and were late 3 minutes, and they left without us, i understand it was us who were late but come on!!! They even call us and i told them we were arriving as per gps with 3 minutes delay. Because we... More

My family & I used Captiva Cruises for a shelling trip to Cayo Costa State Park. Captain Jorge' and first mate Carlos were awesome. The cruise was both entertaining and educational. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

The boat ride was wonderful. It was a 30 minute ride in each direction. We got to spend 2 hrs at the beach. We had a toddler and a lot of stuff so it took us 30 minutes to walk to the sandbar from the boat. People found amazing shells. I packed six bottles of water, lots of snacks, a... More

An hour boat ride there, 4 hours on the island (it flies by!) and an hour boat ride back. It was a hot day but the boat ride was cool and we spent our time on the island in the water. We found a shark tooth and enjoyed the drive to the beach. It reminded me of Costa Rica. Worth... More
