When in NSB, we always stop at this park. The river side is a wonderful place to see manatee and Dolphin and has a new larger playground and sand volleyball. The beach side has, well, the beach.. In 2017, we rented 2 of the several...More

If you are headed for the Canaveral National Seashore, consider stopping at the Mary McLeod Bethune Park West Side on Lady Fish Avenue. This is a well maintained park for small children, a small picnic area, and a short boardwalk for viewing the intracoastal waterway....More

Renovations to the park to put wide paver 'boardwalk' and wooden ramps to the beach in front of the beach area make it much nicer and safer to get from the parking area to the beach. Note that of late the reddish sand seems to...More

Such a lovely beach and park. Great history surrounding this beach. It's a wonderful place to walk and picnic. The restrooms were very clean, too.

Spent a perfect Monday beach day at the Mary McCloud Bethune Beach! Free parking, plenty of parking spaces, quiet, not crowded, soft sand, lots of seashells. My kind of beach!

Right now this park is under construction. As they finish the work this will be a lovely spot on New Smyrna Beach.

We were told to go there to see manatees and dolphins, but unfortunately they were not out when we were there, but the sunset was beautiful that evening and we got some very nice pictures

There is easy access to parking and not a drive on beach. There is a bath house and picnic area within a very short walk to the beach. Not as crowded as others north.
