The park is on a peninsula with plenty of beach area. Dogs are allowed on the inlet side beaches. There are elevated walk ways that are well maintained as well as sandy paths that follow them for dog walking. The entrance fee is $10 but...More

We went for a family dog walk in the morning around the boardwalk. I usually go running here on our annual visit to my mother-in-law and love the amenities: restrooms, drinking fountain and outdoor showers. I like the access to the beach. This time my...More

What a wonderful park with a great boardwalk trail! Our daughter and grandson loved the side trails down to the ocean as well! We saw lots of tortoises and wild flowers! A wonderful place to take pictures and enjoy nature!

A really nice park in March, not too crowded. We don't have a dog ourselves, but did not mind that it is dog friendly. The vast majority of dog owners were very responsible and thoughtful about others - it was nice to see people enjoying...More

This beach is well cared for and visited by thoughtful, friendly folk. All the beaches in this area charge $10 for access. This beach is not car accessible, there is a long boardwalk approach to the beach which is narrow or nonexistent at high tide...More

Only at Smyrna Dunes Park, where the beach is free, but parking is not, are dogs allowed on New Smyrna Beach. However, all 4-legged friends must be leashed while on the beach or boardwalks so it's not really a dog park/beach, just a dog-friendly one...More

Nice place to go for a walk and see nature. Would be good for anyone with mobility issues as there is more than a mile of boardwalk. There are stairs to go over the dunes if you wanted to go to the beach. Nice location...More

A wonderful waterside setting along both the inlet and the ocean. Beautiful beaches for a whole day picnic of swimming and relaxing with your own wee BBQ. Dolphin, shark and turtles can frequently be seen. Snakes and birds too. Not a shelling site as it...More

There is a parking lot at the dog park, but it requires a $5 admission. There is also a dog washing area, an entrance to the boardwalk, and beach and Inlet access.
