You can find different types of shells at different locations on the island. I'm there all the time.

Beautiful park on the water. We sat near the boat launch and had a picnic lunch.Watched birds diving for fish and boats of all sizes. Facilities nearby. Nice place to visit with friends, have a picnic or just sit and enjoy nature.

Only complaint is that they clear beach everyday of trash left and sweep up pine needles in sand. Had picnic tables and trash receptables and restrooms. OK for a river beach

I love the water and when I feel lonely or troubled its what I do. It helps you think life thru and it's such a beautiful place.

We were told to check this park out. Glad we did. Very enjoyable hike. Well marked trails. Love walking along the waters edge. Quiet & peaceful. Will definitely come back here.
