Visited here while on vacation and came out to see the local sights. While walking out on there pier we got to see sea turtles. The view was great and there is a gift shop to visit also. It was nice to set and watch local fisherman and to watch the storms out over the water. It costs a dollar which I feel is a small price to pay for what you get to see.

We had an enjoyable trip to the pier. We went to ‘walk the pier’. The walking fee is $1 per person, for ‘all day’. The pier was clean, and populated by friendly fishermen and women. Signage was adequate, and informative. We enjoyed visiting with a turtle rescue volunteer. We witnessed some BIG catches, and were excited to watch their technique, as well as the collaborative efforts it takes to reel in the BIG one.
We needed jackets, but had walked from our condo without, so it wasn’t an option. The view of Navarre Beach is the best in town!

There is a very long fishing pier that you can walk out on (there is a small fee). You get pretty far out over the water. There are always people fishing and they are catching fish that I had never seen before. It is also interesting to see their fishing techniques. There is also a beautiful beach that is open to the public. There is also a small resturant/bar there if you are interested.

Navarre Pier is an excellent place to see whether you are local or just visiting. The pier is $1 to walk or $7 to fish. Disabled Veterans and military are free. Fishing varies depending on the bite. There have been times when we are pulling in one fish after the other, some days we catch nothing. Either way, we always have a great time. Lots of wildlife to see. There are some birds on the pier that are pretty tame. Dolphins and turtles are often spotted from the pier as well as other marine life. 🐬Local advice: it can get windy and chilly so bring a jacket. Don’t be afraid to ask the fishermen about the fish that they have caught. Most of them are very nice and will tell you all about their catches.🐬

Very nice pier and just $1 a day to go on it. The only downside is that doesn’t matter what time of day you go it’s filled with fisherman lining both sides of the pier. Kinda hard to find a spot to stop and view out on the water.

The shop at the beginning of the pier is small, but has beverages (beer and sodas) and snacks, along with typical tackle and sundries. The lady that ran the shop was very nice. There is a restaurant (with rest rooms) right next to the tackle shop. The cost is very reasonable at $7 to fish, including license for the day, or a buck to just wander around on the pier all you want. The pier is clean and well-maintained. The day we went, there wasn't much action. A few people were catching catfish, and I caught a small (3 1/2') shark. Definitely planning to go back.

This is a great activity for $1 a person to walk the pier. However, there is serious fishing taking place and walkers need to pay attention. One of the fisherman hooked a Kemps Ridley turtle and the volunteers stationed on the pier had to rescue the gorgeous creature. It was quite something to witness the rescue effort. Kudos to the responsible fisherman for reporting the incident and allowing the endangered species to hopefully survive.

Great spot to fish or just get a great view. It was 7$ to fish or 1$ to walk. Lady at the souvenir store where we had to pay seemed to be having a bad day but it was still fun to visit. Bring your fishing gear and make sure you have the correct bait. We did not and it was a bit disappointing to see everyone catching fish but us. We also saw 2 sharks, jumping manta rays and a sea tutle. Pick up your trash! We saw bottles left abandoned everywhere. Well worth a visit, lots of free parking. There is also a restaurant next door but we did not try it.

This visit on the pier was very busy with tons a fisherman along both sides. So not as pleasurable to just enjoy a walk, mostly because their supplies took up a lot of space. However, we still made the most of it. (Have been before during April and was by far more relaxing since not nearly as many people/fisherman on pier.) Saw a dolphin on one side then towards end of pier had a couple turtles that kept popping up for a visit! The sun setting was simply beautiful! Busy or not, still worth the walk along the pier!

Put this on your must do list when your in Navarre Beach.
We went down for a look around and found it very entertaining, we watched the surfers, talked to the guys fishing, took some great pictures and generally enjoyed our time there.
It’s amazing how far out it goes and because of that the views are fantastic
