We wanted to catch big fish from a kayak and that is exactly what happened. Nick had us on the water by 6am. We saw a wonderful sunrise as we set out for our adventure. We were fishing in the Old Towne Predator Pedal Kayak. Everything was set up perfect! As we peddled out to the flats Nick put us on some trout. I think it was my second cast when I pulled in a small trout, good way to start the morning. Then it was on to the flats where I pulled in a nice Red Fish! Soon after my son pulled in another nice Red. Overall we caught 4 reds and 4 trout. Not a lot of fish, but the big reds were what we were after and we were elated! Nick is very knowledgeable and entertaining. I would highly recommend and we will be back. I am already planning for another trip with my other son who was unable to make this trip. See you again soon Nick!
Nick also rents kayaks and has developed all sorts of Predator Kayak accessories that work well from your kayak. I own two Old Town Predator Kayaks and I have purchased a few items from Nicks website, Navarre Kayak Fishing. I highly recommend checking the website out if you own a Predator Kayak.

Nick met me 10 minutes early and we proceeded to the kayak launch site. In route Nick informed me that the water was dirty from recent rains so the fishing may not be ideal. Navarre had severe rains and flooding prior to our trip. But on this day the weather was perfect. My expectation were not high but I was still excited to be fishing from a kayak in the gulf! We launched without issues and was soon trolling for Spanish Mackerel. It did not take long for me to have a fish on, but it was not a Spanish mackerel, it was a Remora or sucker fish. These are what you see attached to sharks and whales! It was a cool looking fish and fun to catch. I would catch one more a little later. Ill add a picture to this review. A little later I had a Spanish Mackerel up to the kayak when he got off. My next fish was the highlight of the day, a King Mackerel! I've always wanted to catch one and this King made me work! Fun fish to bring in and not bad eating either! Since we had Bonita breaking the water all around us Jamie gave me another rod that was set up for Bonita and I did catch a small one. So for a day with low expectations I had a great experience. This was my second fishing trip with Navarre Kayak Fishing and I will be back! Thanks Nick and Jamie!

I started by telling Nick my biggest desire was to learn. My wife and I spend a good bit of time in the Destin area and while I would gladly hire Nick again, I want to be able to fish on my own. Now frankly, I can fish on my own anytime, what I really meant was I want to be able to catch on my own! Nick talked his thoughts throughout our morning. He talked the sun, mullet, osprey, clouds, tides, and more. I know I will not be great on my own now, but have a basis to start with some success and learn more from there.

I would highly recommend using Nick to anyone wanting to kayak fish the FL Panhandle. He uses only the best kayaks (Old Town Predator PDLs) for a quality experience free of breakdown etc. Just be forewarned, you will leave wanting a pedal kayak!

Sometimes a trip is about more than just fishing. Had a wonderful time with Navarre Kayak Fishing. I was concerned about my ability to pedal a kayak for any distance but quickly became comfortable with the guidance of Nick. True professional who takes fishing, safety, and fun very seriously. Day started early as we were out on the water by 6am. Amazing serene setting with the fog coming off the water, fish jumping everywhere, and the calmness of watching the day come alive. The sunrise was beautiful. It was sure delight and the stress was no where to be found as the calm waters just took all things negative away. As we began to find fish Nick had superb instruction on how to work the lures, where to work them, and what to do when you had one on.. Caught a few fish, watched the dolphins play nearby for most of the trip, and seen other wildlife along the shore. It was easy to launch and easy to land. Nick made sure everything was perfect. Cant wait for my next trip to with him. Fish or no fish it is an amazing 4 hours of watching wildlife and taking in the stress free calmness away from a busy world.. Definitely give a try.

Nick is a well-experienced, passionate guide. He makes the adventure absolutely thrilling. You'll see flats, bayous, and sites that you haven't been fished in years. I was skeptical at first, but the fact is that he teaches you to bring in massive out-of-slot Redfish & Trout on top water and lures. Throwing poppin corks at the docks with a strategy is completely refreshing. I will be a repeat customer with Nick & Navarre Kayak Fishing!
