Ok. So I worked with Toyota for many years and love cars. But the rest of my family in attendance (wife, brother-in-law) were similarly fascinated with Revs. The cars are not just transport; many are pieces of art. The docents really know their stuff and what starts as a gallery of great cars turns into an amazing history lesson. Spending half a day indoors in Naples may not be high on anyone's agenda. But spending the time at Revs should be an absolute top item on your to-do list.

We’re so pleased that you found inspiration in the art and history contained within the Miles Collier Collections at Revs! We love it when guests (like your wife and brother-in-law) are surprised with all that the Revs has to offer. As you found, our volunteers are a lifeline to the history of the many exceptional vehicles in the collection, and we're glad they helped to create a rewarding experience for all of you. Thank you for taking the time to review and recommend Revs as an "absolute top item on your to-do list!"

This a true hidden gem in Naples. Nestled back in among a heavily-treed business park, you will find the Rev. My husband planned this trip & I went along as an observer. He arranged having our tour be guided by a docent tour guide who had incredible knowledge of each part of the museum that he took us through. I had assumed that I might be rather bored w/this museum but I couldn’t have been more mistaken. It was a fantastic place filled w/the earliest cars built to the latest ones & everything in between. At each stop, our guide had the most interesting information to share w/his group. The way he told us stories about each segment we entered, made this tour interesting & wondering where we might be headed next!

If you are looking for something very different but extraordinarily interesting, try the Rev. You won’t be disappointed & may come away, as I did, knowing a lot more about the evolution of the car industry & the people that were part of it.

I highly recommend this Naples gem!! Great for all ages & you can tour the museum on your own, if you wish to do so.

Many thanks for recognizing Revs as a “true hidden gem in Naples!” We’re delighted that you and your husband found your tour at Revs to be incredible. Like you, many “ride along” guests who don’t consider themselves car enthusiasts, are pleasantly surprised by how much they enjoy their time at Revs and agree that the 2-hour tour passes very quickly. A diverse blend of history, artifacts and most fascinating collection of automobiles, makes Revs Institute a popular choice among many visitors to Naples. It's wonderful to hear that your visit to Revs provided you with an unexpected fantastic experience!

I saw this on Trip Advisor while in Naples and was lucky enough to get a reservation for the self-guided tour, the docent tours were sold out. Recommended booking early for a docent tour.

There were many volunteers within the building to answer questions and talk about the cars on our self-guided tour and each car had a detailed stand providing history on the car. A great collection of Porsches too.

Hint: check out the cars in the volunteer lot too - some great cars there

This is our second visit to the REVS and if I could give it 10 stars I would. Well worth the visit and when you do visit be sure to take one of the tours. Our docent led tour was about 2.5 hours and did not cover every one of the 150+ cars in the collection. However you have the opportunity to spend as much time as you want to wander through the exhibits to see the cars not covered during the tour. We recommend the morning tour so you have plenty of time to tour the exhibits afterwards at your own pace. The docent was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. A true gem in Naples. The exhibits are outstanding!

Giving this a 5 because of excellent presentation, display and highly knowledgeable staff who can literally talk to you for 40 minutes on the finer points of driving, engines, suspension, etc. Really isn't anything they've missed in terms of their chosen focus. My only but for is that there's a lot of space and dollars invested in race cars from the 60s-90s (Porschephiles go see), I'm more interested in automotive history and daily use thereof, so some of this was lost on me. If I do racers, it's more the early stuff, a la Simeone collection. But still they have both Le Monstre and the 'stock' Caddy from LeMans, and many other interesting daily things besides - it is a well spent visit / you will not regret having been.

Thank you for taking time to visit Revs Institute and sharing your OUTSTANDING review! We value all of the explicit details and are pleased that you enjoyed the purpose-built facility and display. The racing nostalgia combined with the timeless beauty and history of all of the vehicles in the Miles Collier Collections often prove to be the perfect blend for visitors like you, who recognize the rarity of this world-class collection. Glad to hear you especially enjoyed the 1950 Cadillac Series 61 Le Mans "Le Monstre" and "Petite Pataud".

My husband and his friend had 11 a.m. reservations to see the exhibits. They were allowed in as soon as they arrived and spent 5.5 hours! They would have stayed longer but the place closes at 4 p.m. The exhibits were extremely impressive but even more so were the knowledgeable volunteers who were more than happy and prepared to talk about each and every car. On display are cars from the late 1800’s to present. The place is immaculate whether it be the display showrooms or the garage where restoration is done. Anyone who has any interest in cars at all should allow a whole day to learn everything about these amazing machines. 99% of these cars are used on the road or in races. It is suggested to go during the warmer months, it is less crowded so more attention is given to each visitor. The best $20 you will ever spend!

What a fabulous tribute to the Miles Collier Collections, represented by the time spent by your husband and friend, along with your kind words describing their visit! We certainly appreciate this high honor in their eyes! We are so pleased that they enjoyed the historical automotive journey exhibited at Revs Institute, with some of the rarest cars ever built. We hope they will visit us again soon, and perhaps bring you along!

This is a wonderful collection of racing cars and racing history. The docents are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We spent about 3 hours touring the museum and enjoyed it very much.

Note: Tickets must be pre-purchased online and have a designated entry time on the half hour.

This building and the displays are works of art themselves, and truly enhance the study of the cars. The autos are interesting in themselves, but also from a historical perspective or for just appreciating fine design and workmanship. By all means, schedule a docent tour if you can. Rick, our tour guide, was just a walking encyclopedia of information. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the collection come alive. He talked for two solid hours, and we just about jogged to keep up with him yet did not see every car in the collection. My husband and I spent another two hours exploring on our own. He was enthralled with the engineering information. I especially enjoyed the displays from a design and history point of view. Excellent value.

Sounds like you enjoyed your visit to Revs and took full advantage of your time. We truly value your kind words and are pleased that you enjoyed the tour with your docent, Rick - one of the many seasoned docents at Revs who strive to offer the best of themselves while sharing the Miles Collier Collections. I'm sure that Rick will appreciate your consideration of him being a "walking encyclopedia" of information . . . as all of our volunteers put in numerous hours of ongoing training and we're glad to hear it shows! We appreciate your input!

Revs Institute has a wonderful automotive class for teens who wish to know about how engines work. No matter how knowledgeable you may be, this class can teach you new things and give an amazing hands on experience. Our instructor, Michael Barbone does a great job going in detail on what each part does and how its important. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend attending the class as well as taking a look at their museum filled with cars you've never seen before.

What a wonderful museum of very significant cars from late 1800's to modern vehicles. I really enjoyed the wide variety, quality of the vehicles and the knowledge and time that the volunteers spent with me. If you are into Porsche you will go crazy. But, like me, even if you are not but love cars, you will really enjoy it! I My favorite was a spectacular 1937 Delahaye Special Roadster which is an art deco work of fine art! Also, make sure to download the custom app if you go...it has the story and details of every car in their collection, along with close ups of the engine, interior and video of it driving.
