This interesting, small military museum is located in two rooms inside the airport terminal building. Free parking just outside. The museum is free as well but leave a generous donation because it is a volunteer organization. We found a Korean War vet on duty when we visited who was more than happy to point out items of interest. It is quite a collection for a small place. Our only negative comment is that it could be arranged more in chronological order between the various times in history.

The military Museum in Naples Florida has a wealth of information on world war 1 World War II Vietnam and more. Volunteers such as 96-year-old Charles who fought in World War II and Tom a Vietnam veteran helped explain the many artifacts on display. This museum in existence for over a decade is free and open to the public. A great source on military history while visiting Naples.

This was a return visit to the museum while visiting Naples. Visited 2 years ago and it was a delight once again. Very interesting collection of military artifacts in 2 rooms. One is dedicated to World War Two, and the other has has items from the Revolutionary War to present. Plan on spending some time to really take in the artifacts and the stories behind them. The VET volunteers were outstanding! Thank you Bob & Smoky for making our visit so memorable.

We went to see the “Wings of Freedom” exhibit at the Naples Municipal Airport and while there stayed to visit the Naples Museum Of Military History. Located in the airport proper in two separate areas, the museum is not the biggest we have every been to or the best designed but to take a note from their web site “The Naples Museum Of Military History is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) military museum located at the Naples Airport in Southwest Florida. The museum houses more than 10,000 military artifacts from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf wars.” Offering a view of the men and women who have served their country with devotion and dedication, this little museum is a must see in the Naples area. Dedicated to those who served and supplied with items donated by those who served, it is a chance to pay homage to and thank those who have served. A special thanks has to go to those who give of their time to maintain this museum and are available to answer your questions. Parking is free and so is the admission. A special thank you to those who have served. Thank you.
