About
We are a Southwest Florida Military Museum. We have thousands of Military artifacts from all branches of the Military. The Museum is located at the Naples Municipal Airport which was originally built by the Army Corps of Engineers to train pilots for the Pacific theater in WWII. We have now opened the 2nd room we call the Annex, that has everything else not connected to WWII and the Naples Airport Vietnam-Korea Middle East wars and some left over WWII articles. What has begun as a Museum Honoring Military Aviation in World War 2, has evolved into so much more. You can now see historical artifacts dating back to the Revolutionary War and all the way up to the present day Iraq & Afghanistan conflicts.

The museum is packed with a huge collection of relics, memorabilia and information spanning all US wars. Curator (Joel) is also a US vet and was wonderful providing additional insights and information. Can’t wait until the new location opens

This was a return visit to the museum while visiting Naples. Visited 2 years ago and it was a delight once again. Very interesting collection of military artifacts in 2 rooms. One is dedicated to World War Two, and the other has has items from the Revolutionary War to present. Plan on spending some time to really take in the artifacts and the stories behind them. The VET volunteers were outstanding! Thank you Bob & Smoky for making our visit so memorable.

Great little museum. A lot packed into a little space. Many interesting displays. Definitely worth the visit if in area. Free parking at airport right off Airport Pulling Rd. The second area is not there now. Runs on donations.

The Museum of Military Memorabilia is located in the commercial terminal of the Naples Municipal Airport. It may be a little difficult to find, but it is well worth the effort. This museum is a treasure, and a tribute to those who have served in the United States military. It is a place where history is preserved, where personal memories are unlocked and shared, where stories are told, and tears and laughter occur. It can be a very moving experience.
The museum is filled with every kind of military artifact, personal stories, uniforms, medals, etc. There is so much to see, that it is a place you can return to many times and see something different.
One of the most moving things to occur at the museum is when a WWII veteran of "The Greatest Generation", visits the museum. Oftentimes this is the first time he opens about his experience. It is indeed a very powerful experience.
Visiting the museum is truly an educational experience and a "must see" for every resident and visitor to Naples.

A small museum packed with lots of military displays, models uniforms in the Terminal area. It's a quick visit but worth if you are in the area

Tucked away in the commercial terminal at Naples Municipal Airport. An outstanding collection of military artifacts from the Civil War to Afghanistan. There is the main museum which is mostly WW 2 and the Annex which contains all eras. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. As southern Florida has a strong military history, this is a wonderful addition. This is no admission fee, but donations are welcome and deserved .

Boy, if you read this, you're lucky like me to find this listing. Others haven't based on the few prior reviewers.

Also, wish other WWII vets would volunteer a few hours here. Great stories I heard. So much memorabilia has been contributed by Estates of their 'fighting heroes'.

Two rooms. Models of ships and aircraft, emblems & medals (in personal frames), clothing, photo among other things.

See photos.

If you knew Vets, contact them, bring them down to the Museum. Yes, hopefully their enjoy themselves and maybe volunteer a few hours.

There are two small rooms staffed by volunteers. Admission is free, but there is a donation box. If you want to get anything out of this, have one of the volunteers provide a tour. Joyce provided the tour in the first location. She brings the exhibits to life, as she explains the history of the items, with personal knowledge of the subjects and people.

Jim C provided the tour in the other room. He was also quite knowledgeable. I visit military museums whenever I travel. Jim taught me some things I did not know.

The exhibits are of a more personal nature as opposed to big guns and tanks, although there were guns.

While small this museum is a gem. If you like military history, don't miss it.

The military Museum in Naples Florida has a wealth of information on world war 1 World War II Vietnam and more. Volunteers such as 96-year-old Charles who fought in World War II and Tom a Vietnam veteran helped explain the many artifacts on display. This museum in existence for over a decade is free and open to the public. A great source on military history while visiting Naples.
