This is a truly lovely nook of Naples. Beautifully located two parts of shopping center on both sides of the road are connected by an underground tunnel . Narrower walkways are lined up with boutiques, cafes and stores. In the evening the area continues to be bustling but it is the restaurants, live music and lights that create the atmosphere . Many venues are waterfront.
Overall no matter what anyone’s plans are - strolling, shopping, ice cream ( Ben and Jerry’s), relaxing- it is a recommended area to explore.

Great place to shop if your local or visiting Naples or Southwest Florida. Has a variety of retailers and local restaurants all on a beautiful waterfront setting. My kids always have the best time watching the fountain and as a realtor it's a great place to meet my buyers for lunch or coffee to discuss buying a home or condo in the area

Many times to Naples, first time here. Much nicer selection of shops than 5th Avenue (though not as many), excellent variety of restaurants - we really enjoyed the views and the food on the patio of the Bayside Grill and window seating at M Waterfront Grill. Plan to spend at least a few hours here one day and extend it with a lunch or dinner - cannot go wrong. We did it twice during our latest week in Naples.

The Village shops on Venetian Bay is a colorful shopping area on the water. It has a Caribbean feel with open air dining, boutique shops , wine bar, restaurants and a pastry shop. It’s a good place to spend a nice morning or afternoon.

So, these Village Shops are on Venetian Bay, that is in Naples, that in turn, is in Florida.

However, the looks and general design of this, relatively small shopping 'mall' on the waters of Venetian Bay strongly resemble the original Venice, which we all know, is in Italy.

This preamble aside, The Village Shops offer highly upscale shopping and fine dining in all its forty five, high-end shops, galleries, beauty salons and restaurants, some of the latter facing the picturesque views of the bay. The shops are mainly of the exquisite quality type - Teruzzi, Mondo Uomo, WM. Phelps, Tommy Bahama, Chico's, et al. The service is impeccable.

I've been to The Village Shops many times, and I particularly admire the very contemporary outside decor of the place - these large, Contemporary Art sculptures, placed all around the mall, strongly contrast the comparatively tight set of the shops and restaurants. That brings me again to the beginning: it is a 'new-world' mall, with a tribute to the 'old-world' history and culture. That's how I perceive the design of the mall. I find it very vanguard, very proper and very cool.

Needless to say, that The Village Shops are very popular with the local public and tourists, visiting Naples. This mall a very pleasant place to spend say, an afternoon or an evening, to enjoy shopping and having an excellent meal. A vast parking area of the mall borders the Gulf Shore Blvd, from which it is only a minute to the beach.

My wife and I shopped every store. The women's boutiques had basic dresses made in China for $150.00. While standing in the store we found the exact dress online for $23. Same brand, same dress. This is a giant ripoff. Very nice to window browse and restaurants were good. This review is only for the retail shops.

The Venetian Village is the place in Naples for some Waterfront dining and shopping. There's some boutique stores. Fine dining a French patisserie, even a jewelry store with a display of a very large diamond.

I like boutiques but this place is awful. Every store carried same women's clothing and accessories for the 60+ crowd no variety what so ever. Waste of time skip it!

Upscale shopping and dining. Boutiques with gorgeous clothes for women and men. Good food and a lovely setting on Venetian bay make for fun and leisurely outdoor dining as your watch boats zip by. There are many diversions here to while away the hours. Be warned --- this can be an expensive afternoon if you let yourself be tempted!

I highly recommend Teruzzi Men's Wear for European resort-style clothing with flare; Alan, the owner, is very helpful in selecting flattering styles and ensuring proper fit with alterations as may be needed. My husband loves the jeans, colorful shirts, silk tees, gorgeous pocket-scarves, and beautiful belts and interchangeable buckles.

Whispers has lovely upscale women's casual clothes....most made of natural fibers and from designers you will not find elsewhere. As the same time that their clothes are fashionable, they are also classic and well-made. Dona was very accommodating.

Wildflower has classic, super-luxe women's fashion from Europe. Italian knitwear. Basler well-tailored jackets and pants. Bogner outerwear. Luisa Cerruti styles. Pat was very helpful in making suggestions and selections.

FISH is a terrific restaurant with lots of outdoor seating with a view of the water. The food is excellent and the service is helpful and friendly. You will be surrounded by people speaking Italian, German, Portuguese, Spanish, French, etc. You feel you have been transported to Europe. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we had both lunch and dinner there during our stay. The fish and chips was the best I have had -- the white fish was flaky and tender and tasty, the batter light and not oily, cooked perfectly and delivered hot. The pesto shrimp was very good. Ahi tuna with wasabi on wontons was a tasty appetizer. The fig and prosciutto flat bread was very good.

We rented a bowrider at Park Shore Marina (right there in the Villages complex). Fun way to spend a couple of houses cruising Venetian Bay and drooling over the gorgeous homes and condos. The Bay is entirely a no-wake zone.....so this is a leisurely cruise. We felt that 2 hours was enough to do the full length of the bay. Also, the marina owners permit you to exit into the Gulf, but do not want you to venture far out......this is solely so that you can rev up the boat briefly and see what that baby can do. You also get a breathtaking view up and down the coast.

This was my second visit to the Village on Venetian Bay......and I consider this a must visit when you are in Naples.
