This is one of the best kept secrets in Naples. A public beach area, yet you can go up to the restaurant/bar and order food, drinks and listen to live music most afternoons. Many Sundays are packed with afternoon/evening bands. You have to go on...More
I love this hotel. It's reminiscent of Florida resorts from the 50s with modern charm and updates, while retaining that midcentury charm.
I've stayed in this hotel as a guest, as well as visit on Sunday evenings as a local when I lived in Naples...More
Very nice hotel. Well maintained to the detail. Housekeeping really does its utmost to have the room tidy and nice twice a day. Even the towels were nicely decorated which gives a luxury feeling away from home. Front desk staff was very helpful at check-jn...More
We arrived at the Naples Beach and Golf Resort and full of anticipation went straight to the beach to enjoy the ocean. We were immediately informed that it would cost us $42 per day to rent 2 lounge chairs and some shade. We paid over...More
This old Naples landmark has modern facilities right on the beach w beach bar, restaurants, pool, sports and 18 hole golf course. The owners support the community in events such as triathlon race and summer jazz concerts.
Beautiful property. Staff couldn’t be more accommodating. (My daughter said we were treated “like royalty”). Prices for food and drink were high - but you’d expect that not only in Naples in general, and also at a waterfront property. Our only suggestions would be around...More
We had an amazing time at Naples Beach Resort. Right from the start we knlew it was the perfect place to stay. The girl at check-in was so welcoming and so informative. The rooms were beautiful. Loved the Gulf side bar and grill. Everyone one...More
Our second home is what we call this place. We stay for 3 months so we know the hotel well. Location right on the beach is perfect.
It is a family run hotel, that is not pretentious. You never feel out of place, only welcomed....More
Naples beach hotel and golf club or Naples grand ? (2 Replies)
Which hotel do you prefer and why ? Can’t decide

Naples Grande has a much better golf course. Much better. It also has a huge pool complex with water slide and seperate adults-only pool. But the location of the Beach hotel is better in my opinion and it’s right on the beach. Depends what is important to you.
Are kayak rentals worthwhile? (2 Replies)
We will be in Naples soon, and our resort (Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club) rents 2-person kayaks for $80 for a half day. I've noticed a few other places have them for other prices. I really want to see dolphins closer than when I'm on the beach and am wondering if this is worthwhile. A couple of years ago I saw a family coming back in to the beach who'd come close to dolphins and a couple of sea turtles while on their kayaks. Is there somewhere better to go than just renting them at the...More

Personally, we really enjoy renting a boat for the day. It is more expensive, but WELL worth it in my opinion (in fact, we bought a boat after renting in Marco Island a few times)!! We see tons of dolphins, manatees, sting rays, etc. on our days out on the boat. If you really want to see manatees, go just between the jetties at South Marco Beach and patiently hang out in the water . . . You are bound to see them (we see them almost every single time we are there and have snorkeled near them)....More

Can't decide which hotel.... (4 Replies)
We can't decide, between The Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club or the Cove Inn. The Cove Inn is far more reasonable priced with much more diversions in terms of bars & restuarants to walk to, but the Beach Hotel is on the beach....(We don't mind walking to the beach though)...Which should we choose?

The Cove Inn is more like an older motel situation with boat docks. I hear the restaurant is diner-like, but no first hand experience. It will be a long walk to the beach from the Cove. The Beach Club is for the most part, beach-front and more of a resort situation. Beach Club offers an outdoor bar area on the beach for sunset and often has live music. The Cove Inn is on a canal in the bay area with boat docks and a tiki bar. Another option is Naples Bay Resort that is on the Bay also distant...More
