Always enjoy walking and admiring the old school building styles and local artisan shops. Rich in history however a little on the pricy side.

The street has numerous upmarket shops and restaurants but not much else. There didn't seem to be any public transport so we walked along most of it.

Fifth avenue is great for finding a restaurant of choice. A ton to choose from. Lively upscale atmosphere with lights and people. Great to walk around late in the evenings.

Free parking, good restaurants, great shopping, fancy-schmancy hotels. What more could you ask? Several ice cream shops, too! Great area for spending the afternoon alone or with girlfriends! Or for a date night.
