A Happening Place.

Whether it is the 3 block long car show in February, the walk along both sides on a warm night, the many fine restaurants, you have to experience this famous street.

Beautiful shops (although most are very pricey). Great strolling atmosphere. We love the multiple street cafes with their outdoor seating. Frequent fairs, music fests, art fests, car shows, etc...make this downtown area so enjoyable.

Guaranteed to please everyone, this shopping is the best of the best. There are also great events that take place on this street many times, always feels safe and happy, even with children.

To park your car and walk all the way through 5th Avenue is an excellent experience. A lot of typical stores proper to the area. Follage, nice weather and nice people. An excellent experience.

This area is very nice. It maintains a stay flow of traffic. The restaurants offer a variety of options. The parking is on the main streets and can be a little conjested. The store fronts offer a lot of variety from clothes, art and unique crafts.

Confusing address and name but we ate at South Avenue at 651 5th Avenue. 239-302-6446 They run a special between 4 and 7. (Check to make sure this is still running) We enjoyed a great meal and deal. Specials this particular evening were salad or soup, a glass of wine, and your entree for $22.00. My husband had the Linguini... More

Lots of places to eat, chain and local specialty shops all in a reasonable walking distance. Take the trolley all the way around its route (it takes about 30-45 minutes) to familiarize yourself with the area. It's free, and a hop-on, hop-off set up. In the shopping area, they have no designated stops. Just stand on the sidewalk and wave... More

I love walking with my friends and family on Fifth Avenue South, especially at Christmas time and especialy at night. The street is decked out in decorations and lights. One can people watch, shop in the many shops available that are open and eat in the many restaurants available. It's a fun afternoon or evening.
