Not a terrible zoo but many enclosures were too small
Apr 2021
So this is our second time here. I have to admit I was a bit dissapointed in the size of some of the enclosures (you could see some pacing behavior in some animals who don't have enough room to roam or stimulation) and lack of toys/challenges for the animals. I don't think we will return in the future.

Naples zoo (Review by Bruce The Zoo Guy)
Apr 2021 • Solo
Smaller zoo. Free parking but was surprised they didn't honor discount for being a reciprocal zoo member. Smaller sized zoo, not as extravagent as the other zoos i have seen in Florida, but hey its a small community. Liked the gators and live feeding. Really liked the boat tour (free) that takes you around all the primate islands. Giraffe enclosure was disappointing, needs more foliage, too barren. Had nice tiger n bear exhibits, panther too. No elephants here. Lot of the enclosures were more fence based rather then thematic. Nice paths. Loved the Lego animals they had all around.

Disappointed with overall experience
Apr 2021 • Family
I admit that we came on a busy day....Friday during spring break and cool weather.....but it was crazy busy! So the lines for everything were sooo long. We were really disappointed the only way to see the primates was on the boat ride around the lagoon with a HUGE LINE! We didn’t want to wait in the line so we couldn’t even see them. There was also another “show”....Seated Safari....the line to get into it was really long too. The rest of the zoo was clean and nice but nothing “wow” about it. My kids were disappointed when we made it back to the entrance....they said “that’s it??” I’m a mom to four kids ages 7-13. A younger group would have likely been more entertained with what the zoo had to offer. My kids did like the lego animal sculptures all over the zoo.

Our kids enjoyed a quick visit, the monkeys were the biggest hit. They had some nice animal shows as well. Relaxing place to go on a Sunday.

Disappointed
Mar 2021 • Family
We were looking forward to our day at the zoo. Honestly we didn’t see many animals, it was like expensive hiking trail over through the zoo. We were done in an hour and the best part was the playground for kids and lego sculptures. Very surprised that in 90+degree day there were bunch of signs saying that the animals are inside due to the cold weather. That’s insane! Not worth it and we travel all over the country and we thought that was the most expensive zoo to visit. We looked at it as the donation to upkeep the establishment

Very Nice

Really enjoyed a few hours here. The grounds are clean and very well taken care of. Good selection of animals and exhibits for a smaller zoo and workers were helpful and friendly. Recommend, especially for a few hours with kids. Lego displays were a hit for sure!

Small Zoo Packs A Big Punch

Enjoyed feeding the giraffes, cruising around the primate Islands, watching the reptile show, and watching the alligator feeding and training. The LEGO exhibits were exciting for the grandchildren, too!Plenty of shade!

Awesome walk with good views of real animals and the Lego animals
Mar 2021
We spent the better part of an hour and a half walking around this zoo! We were blown away by the Lego animals that were erected around the zoo and the amount of Legos it took make them! So real looking! Price was very reasonable and the landscaping around the exhibits was kept up. We had close up views of most of the exhibits and kids were having a great time! Definitely a place to see!

A cute little Zoo with a Big heart
Mar 2021
A great little zoo with some really nice exhibits. Feeding the giraffes, seeing the Cloud leopards (on Tikka's birthday!) and taking the boat tours was the highlight of our day. Some really great areas for some Florida native animals (looking at you Panther!) with lots of friendly and helpful staff. The Zoo was clean and the animals all seemed well taken care off. Overall worth a visit when you come to Naples. A few hours will allow you to see everything you want.
