Much more than a walk-thru zoo, this historic tropical garden and nationally accredited zoo features a full day of wildlife experiences to delight guests with the natural world to inspire the conservation of our planet's remaining wild areas and their wondrous inhabitants.

Discover the wonders of South America featuring a Giant anteater, Cotton-top tamarins, and more. Get wildly close to the Malayan tigers at viewing windows. Hand-feed the herd of giraffe plus enjoy your favorite animals like lions, monkeys, and bears. Naples Zoo is one of only four zoos in the nation to feature the fierce YouTube-favorites: African honey badgers. Plus discover rarely seen species including Malagasy fosas and 2 of less than 20 striped hyenas in the nation.

Ask those questions you've always wondered about at the Meet the Keeper Series. Be fascinated by rare creatures during premier wildlife shows. Cruise through islands of monkeys, lemurs, and apes. Watch our professional staff hand-feed American alligators while dispelling popular myths. Snap great photos and learn the facts behind the fiction at a venomous snake talk. It's wild fun from apes to zebras.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a nonprofit organization cooperating in conservation programs both in and outside the wild for endangered species. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the organization that sets the highest standards for wildlife care, education, and conservation. The garden also holds accreditation by The Morton Register of Arboreta and is a member of the American Public Gardens Association.

While we had a nice visit, we were in and out in under 2 hours as there isn't much to see. Most of the animals beat the heat by hiding out, so the best way to see them is during scheduled zoo keeper talks spaced thru out the day. It's pretty small so it would be a great venue for... More

Lovely little zoo with an aviary that entertains and melts your heart. The alligator feeding cannot be missed and the boat tour is great. Not the biggest zoo, but great nonetheless. Feed the giraffes and be sure to catch the shows and keeper talks. If you're in the area this is a do not miss.

Great place to relax have fun and learn all at the same time. The kids will love it and you will love the kids loving it. Fun and educational for all ages. I believe the last Sunday of every month is free for kids who live in Naples. You may want to call and check the days that are free... More

We spent two and a half hours here. It was ok for a smaller zoo. The walk ways were nice and foliage was a plus. You can feed dry food to some of the animals from the do it yourself machines for $0.25 cents. We were told you can purchase lettuce leaves to hand feed the giraffes as well. We... More

I have been here several times and it is a really nice zoo. I couldn't give it more than an average rating because the zoo is small, the exhibitions don't change too often and it's not a place that you would want to return to often. I used to live in Miami and the zoo there is incredible so it's... More

This is the only zoo I've been to where I don't feel sad for the animals. The habitats are very lush and natural looking. There is also a nice variety of unusual animals (anteaters, blind FL cougar, honey badgers). The food is provided by a local grocery, so fresh packaged salads and other items are available for a very decent... More

Visited Naples Zoo for the first time today. Very pleasant experience. Grounds are well maintained and lush. Animals have spacious habitats. Lots of enthusiastic keeper presentations with great information. Enjoyed the boat ride to see and learn about the gibbons. Would highly recommend a visit here if you are looking for a local zoo where you can get up close... More

My family and I visit many zoo's to entertain the kids. Animal interactions, followed by water activities are top attractions. The Naples zoo had neither. It is one of the saddest zoos that we ever been to. There are no animal interaction areas, petting zones, not even a feeding area. Even the giraffes areas where blocked off on the day... More

I would highly recommend a visit. There are many demonstrations and "getting to know the trainers" events. The habitats for the animals are very natural settings. I would recommend the boat tour to observe the various monkeys and apes
