This is a great place to stroll and see the old part of Naples. A lot to see and the shopping is good. Some of the stores are pricey. The market on Saturday is nice . And a beer and pickle with lunch is nice at the Old Naples Pub .

As a local I love Third Street South. The restaurants are amazing and you can always sit outside in the perfect setting. I visit Third Street South with friends on a regular basis and we always enjoy the off season! During season we visit with friends and family even though it can be a bit crowded...just makes the people and... More

Like 5th Ave South, this is another great place to stop to stretch and shop (and get out of the heat!). Lots of nice shops and places to eat. We also enjoyed a visit to the Farmer's Market (Saturdays).

This is the site of what had been an original downtown. It is physically beautiful with high level shops - not all the ones you often see in every mall - and tropical flowers and palm trees.

This area is also known as Old Naples and it is the most lovely place to spend time. Wide sidewalks with pots and hanging planters of flowers spilling down, shady old growth trees and lovely architecture all contribute to an unforgettably beautiful ambiance. Excellent restaurants, great shops and art galleries make for plenty of great places to spend time and... More

A 2 x 4 block area in south Naples. Many boutique clothing places, art galleries, eclectic shops, and restaurants. More upscale and smaller area than the 5th Ave. South shopping district. Somewhat touristy, but nicely laid out. A great farmers market every Saturday year round. Also, street activities monthly during season. There are 5 or 6 well known Naples restaurants... More

This is a pretty area with lots of shops and restaurants. There are many beautiful homes in this general area. There is also free parking available. We were visiting during off season in June so it wasn't very busy at all.

In contrast to the ever-changing restaurant scene in other areas of Naples, 3rd Street in Old Historic Naples has been relatively stable. Yes, there was the demise of Handsome Harry's (gosh I miss their banana split dessert) with the Continental but little else. Lots of people watching outdoor dining (eg, Campiello, Continental, Sea Salt, Tommy Bahama) and free street music... More
