Wasn't sure what to expect when we pulled in. We had read the reviews and went ahead booking the ride. We were not disappointed! The airport captain was very informative and catered his ride and comments to the passengers. After the airboat ride, we enjoyed the alligator exhibit where the host gave a nice presentation on his alligators including all of us being able to pet them! And for those who wanted to, they could hold a baby alligator. As another reviewer mentioned, Bucket List Check!!!

We visited on a Friday afternoon. We made reservations ahead of time but ran late and they were very accommodating getting us on the next tour. The tour lasted about 40 minutes and we were able to see multiple alligators out in the wild. Our boat captain was well versed on the history of the area and had decades of experience in handling airboats. He was great in taking pictures of guests while on the boat and answering everyone’s questions. There is also an alligator show that is included while you are waiting before or after the airboat tour. Patrick (the alligator handler) was great with kids and educating everyone about local wildlife. Everyone, including kids can get up close and personal with the alligators. If there is time in your trip it makes for a good few hours of vacation time.

We climbed into the airboat and our guide started up the engine, which was deafening. Fortunately everyone was given headphones to protect our hearing and we started off. We quickly were skimming the water at about 40mph and often through long, narrow tunnels of mangrove trees (see photos). Our airboat went careening around turns and even over some dry areas without hesitation. We saw several large alligators and at the end of the trip treated to a free alligator show where we were each allowed to hold an alligator several feet long. The tour is only about 40min which is just about the right length in my opinion.

A group of 7 of us wanted to do this. We called on a Saturday and got a reservation within a couple of hours. The cost is $40 per person which is very reasonable. The tour took about 40 minutes or so. Our guide was Mark and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was a fun and exhilarating ride and would do it again. Tip your driver if you like the ride.

Our captain, Mark, was hilarious, friendly, and very informative about the Everglades that he clearly loves (my dad said he was like a 'King of the Swamp'). Mark was also an excellent driver; he turned that airboat on a dime as he zipped around the swamp! Our group ranged in age from 13 to 79 years and everyone felt safe and had a fun time. We saw four alligators out on the swamp and one 13 footer basking on the bank by the ticket office. We would definitely return to Corey Billie's.

The airboat ride was excellent fun - and more than that. During the hour we spent out on the swamp our tour guide not only demonstrated his amazing boat handling skills. Born and bred in the area he shared stories how the swamp had changed in the last decades, how man-made interventions like roads or government regulations had interfered with life there. His love and passion for the Everglades came across strongly.
Great experience!

We have been here already several times and it has always been a great experience. This tume, the person at the registration moved us to an earlier boat, the guide has been a funny guy with a lot of airboat driving skills. We enjoyed it very much and will be back again.

Our visit to Coryey Billie"s was terrible. What a disappointment from our experience 2 years ago! We only saw 5 to 7 alligators on our 40-45 min ride. There was very little information provided by our guide. It states there is an alligator show as part of the entrance fee. There was no show. Not worth $45 per adult or $30 per child for this excursion. Don't waste your money. Our guide was smoking on the jet boat ride.

We were a group of 7 from ages 16- 70’s. We chose Corey Billie’s because they were a rare air boat business that had air boats for groups larger than six people. We made reservations ahead but not sure it was even necessary. It’s at an easy to get to location. The air boat ride was thrilling but not scary or dangerous feeling. We all loved it! We were lucky enough to have Corey Billie as our driver and guide. His driving ability is outstanding and mind blowing at how skilled he is. He took time to stop and talk to us during the ride to teach us about the area and what we were seeing. He sought out alligators and wildlife. After the ride, we got to view a little alligator show and hold a young alligator. It was a great experience and I highly recommend you choose Corey Billie.

We went with another couple who had never been on an airboat ride. We chose this business because we had met one of their captains by chance in Everglades City. He’s a fourth generation local resident and the owner of this establishment is also a multigenerational local resident. The Captain has 59 years experience with these boats and is extremely knowledgeable about the Everglades. Definitely worth checking out!

Is this the time of year to see any alligators? Are any tamed?

They do have some alligators that are in a pen near the airboat office. After the tour, they do a demonstration at the pen. There also was a very large alligator in the water near the boats that reportedly stays around since they feed it.

You can bring children of any age as long as you are comfortable taking responsibility for them. We have a children of infant age and even one to three years old enjoy the ride. FYI children three and under ride for free!

This may seem like a dumb question, but has anyone gotten sick (motion sick) on the boat tour? I really would love to do this but I have a fear of getting sick.

Motion sickness differs for everyone. Maybe take a Dramamine prior to your departure time. It is however a smooth glide across the lakes, tall sea grass, and between the canopies of mangroves.

Hello.
Is now the good time to do the visit? I want to bring some Italians friends. They will see the alligators?
Thanks

Its great fun all year around. Summers are hot and muggy. Seeing wildlife is probably better in the mornings that time of year. The fall into winter months are usually cooler and wildlife is prevalent most of the day.

Virement ?
Merci pour votre réponse

I took the ride with my two boys 3 years and 8 months and 5 years and 9 months without problem. They were put in the middle of the air boat between the parents.
Regarding opening times and seasonal please check their web site. I have no information about that.
