About Naples Kayak Company
Since 2004 - the best guided kayak ecotours in Southwest Florida - day or night! NKC will show you the hidden mangrove trails the other tour companies never enter! On our beautiful Rookery Bay and Wiggins Pass tours we often see dolphins, pelicans, ospreys, egrets, herons, ibises, eagles and manatees, as well as fish jumping everywhere. Our most amazing tour is our incomparable Birds, Bioluminescence and More Birds Tour. You'll see thousands of birds landing on a tiny island around sunset and THEN be guided through the mangroves with the ONLY Naples company offering after-dark, underwater, Bioluminescence light show kayak tours. We also offer 6-7 hour sea kayak tours in the Ten Thousand Islands, kayak lessons from American Canoe Association certified kayak instructors, guided Hobie Kayak Fishing Tours, Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) lessons & tours, SUP Yoga lessons, and rentals of kayaks and paddleboards daily, weekly and monthly.

An absolute highlight of our trip! Amazing outdoor activity to do during COVID. We did the evening kayak tour and everything about the tour, the guides, and this company was a solid 5. The main guide, besides being as knowledgabke about the area, the flora, and the fauna as I could imagine, was extremely communicative and helpful. He called us personally the day before to ensure we had all of our questions answered and to give us extra info. The day of, we got into some real traffic problems and thought we would miss our group, definitely not able to arrive 30 minutes early as we were asked. I called the same main guide who was incredibly chill and understanding, and said he would have the secondary guide wait for us so we wouldn't miss anything, but also wouldn't delay the rest of the group (our other concern.) Once we got there, they were amazing and got us o the water quickly. We were in two double kayaks, one with my 14 and 6 year old sons and one with me and my 86 year old grandmother. We met up with group and had the best time. It was so peaceful, the bird island was a once in a lifetime experience, and the bioluminescent jellyfish and other microorganisms, were not only cool, but the guides were amazing in being inclusive. They even made sure that my 6-year old got to hold a large bioluminescent green jellyfish. If I could give this unique and amazing experience more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend.

We did the sunset kayak tour. I’ve kayaked before but never at night. So glad we did. Kayaking at sunset was beautiful but the sunset was just the beginning. We saw a mother dolphin playing and even heard them do some vocalization. After sunset, we watched thousands of birds come to rest for the night on a single island. Then as night fell we entered the mangrove tunnels and saw an amazing light show of nature. The stars lit up the night sky while comb jelly fish and dinoflagellates lit up the waters with amazing bioluminescence. I had never seen anything like that. It made everything look magical. Our paddles glittered with every paddle stroke. We went during the winter so there were plenty of jelly fish. They don’t sting, so out tour guide caught some in a net and let up touch them. I would highly recommend this experience.

We highly recommend the Naples Kayak Company. We signed up for a private guided 2 hour tour of Rookery Bay. Steve was our guide. The tour and Steve were excellent. We are relatively new to kayaking. Steve was patient, helpful and informative. He took us in and around the mangroves in expert fashion. The company also does group tours. We’ll be back.
