I sent my President's Club winners on a Sweet Liberty Sunset Cruise and everything from the planning to the event was executed very well by Susan, the owner. She communicated throughout the whole process leading up to the day of. There was a possible issue with weather, and she again, was in contact with me (I am an event planner) up to the moment she decided all was well.
The response from my team was that it was an amazing experience.
I had the sunset cruise catered - we did a private tour and it was worth every dollar.

Group of six. Great day, good narrative of sights, dolphins were swimming nearby, fog rolled in and captain was very safety conscious. Sitting inside has limited visibility of sights and you either go up and stand or basically sit on thin mats on the floor. Only makes a difference if you have a hard time getting up and down from a sitting position on the ground or can’t stand for a long period. Option: go inside and see what you can but enjoy the ride.

Visiting the Ft Myers/Naples area during spring break is always challenging to park and find beach space so when we came across this catamaran cruise to a private beach we were interested!! One of the highlights of our vacation!!
The crew was so friendly and informative about the area and we even enjoyed a few dolphin encounters and osprey mamas in their nests on our way to the beach! We cruised past many multi-million $$ homes and enjoyed soaking in the rays on the catamaran.
Seating is first come first serve...people line up about 15-30 minutes ahead of departure. We chose to sit on deck in front of the windows for back support (the best seats in my opinion!) There were also tables and benches on the back of the catamaran.
Parking was convenient and free!! Limited food/beverage is available for sale but you are also welcome to bring a small cooler or your own snacks which is great!
I highly recommend Sweet Liberty!! It was so relaxing and enjoyable!! Ticket prices are very reasonable - 2 adults and a tween for 3 hours for $120!!

When my family comes to Naples, one of the requirements of their visit is to make reservations on Sweet Liberty. My 14 year old Granddaughter was an infant when she first sailed on Sweet Liberty, and has been on Sweet Liberty every year since. Now, my oldest grandson has brought his children for the second time, they are 10, 8, and 4. They loved the sail. Our neighbors made me promise to let them know when we went so that they could sail with us. The crew is always friendly, informative of the history of our surroundings and very accommodating, even moving the catamaran back and forth to insure that everyone gets a good view of the sunset. I give Sweet Liberty an A++, and highly recommend them.

It was a nice tour, a little overpriced in my opinion. We went on the beach and shelling tour, they motor down the waterway and look at large homes, and they are on the microphone pointing out some facts and famous peoples homes. This takes a good 30-45 minutes, then they stop at the next island over(Keewadin, I believe) and they drop you off for an hour to shell, or swim. Water was nice and there was a ton of shells. Then your board back and you sail the little bit back to the water way and your motor the 45 min back to their dock.
Get there early to get the front of the boat, otherwise you are in an enclosed area. You can stand on the sides after the boat starts moving, but you are standing the whole time. There is no net to lay or sit on, like other catamarans.

Read the boat description clearly. They can take up to 42 people which is very tight and there is no margin for a comfortable, enjoyable experience. You will most probably be offered space below deck with limited visibility which defeats the purpose of a sunset cruise. When discussed with the crew the responses were sharp, snarky and defensive in tone. For example: “If you don’t like it, it’s your prerogative not to board.” This is not what one would expect from a tourism focused business. (We did not board and after asking for a refund we’re declined). It was a bit embarrassing as we had my elderly parents in from out of town.

Another excellent cruise!
This was about our 20th time with the Sweet Liberty and crew and it has never disappointed. We usually do the sunset cruise but 2 of the last 4 times that cruise has already been booked so we have done the afternoon cruise. Either way you can't go wrong with their knowledge of the area, professionalism and service on board! This is definitely the best, most reasonablelby priced tour in the Naples area and bringing your own snacks and adult beverages on board makes it even that much better! Thanks again Sweet Liberty captain and staff. We'll see you again soon!

This catamaran was the best boat trip we have been on in Florida. We have our own pontoon, but decided to try this for something different, We absolutely loved the smooth sailing out into the Gulf. This will be a repeat trip for sure every time we have guests in town, I highly recommend this boat trip. You will not be disappointed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the Sweet Liberty. Spending a week in Naples, we decided that we needed a break from the beach and pool and this was a perfect option. We did the sightseeing cruise which was a nice and relaxing way to spend an afternoon. The captain and crew were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The prices were very fair I would highly recommend bringing a small cooler with beverages. Next time, I would like to try the morning shelling cruise on Keewaydin Island.

Sweet Liberty was an awesome, enjoyable and safe way to view an incredible sunset in Naples Florida, while being educated by Captain Shane and 1st mate Robin on the local real estate, waterfront development and the wildlife in the Naples bay and Gulf of Mexico area. Captain Shane and 1st mate Robin are very knowledgeable safe and charismatic individuals who made our groups 2 hour cocktail soaked sunset cruise one the best memories of our crews long weekend in Naples. AND very reasonably priced when compared with other water choices for groups of 8-20 people. Great staff and very reputable company...see you again very soon!!

It appears the max is 40, but at this time, a lower number. There were only 10 on the boat for our sunset cruise.

I am traveling to Naples in mid-January. Is the weather ok for this trip at that time or is it too cold in the evening?

Daytime temps can vary from low 60’s to mid 80’s. Boat tours operate depending on weather conditions. Check the weather for your dates.

Hi, my husband and my elderly parents will soon be taking this tour which we are all looking forward to! Giving my parents a choice of where to sit comfortably will be very important so we would like to arrive early enough to have a good choice for seating - we understand others will also arrive early. How early do you recommend arriving to have first choice for seating? Thanks!

Plan to arrive at least 30 min prior to scheduled departure to get first pick seating.

We were just there last week—not sure about other times of year, but when we went, there was a parking lot on the left about a block before you get to the traffic circle at the end of 8th street—very easy to park and free. The lot has a sign that says parking for Naples City Dock. Have a great time!!
