Amazing sunset boat trip with the team at Sweet Liberty. There were a few providers to choose from, but we based our choice on the reviews on here, and were not disappointed. The weather was perfect for the most magical sunset with Captain Rob and First Mate Robin. Communication was great in advance when we enquired about the best time to arrive to ensure we were sat outside (18:15 for a 18:45 departure) and we managed to get a spot upfront. We saw some dolphins twice and the most magical sunset - highly recommended.

We did a sunset cruise (with two other couples) on a cloudy November evening, but enjoyed it thoroughly. Captain Glen took us through Port Royal (with its palatial homes and yachts), filled us in on lots of backstory, and out to the Gulf for sunset. He was excellent at maneuvering this top heavy Tikki. I would've given the attraction five stars if the person answering the phone hadn't been so snippish both times I called before we got there. Rain was in the forecast in the AM and I called to find out if the cruise was on. "This is Naples. We don't cancel until an hour before." Click. Then later It had been raining and I wondered if the cruise had in fact been cancelled. "It's not raining at our Naples dock. No, it's not cancelled." It's byob, but what about ice and glasses do you supply those? "No; bring those." Click. It turned out Captain Glen did supply ice - and there was a dedicated cooler. (No glasses, but we had them...)

It was our 7th time on the boat and as usual the captain was very informative, friendly and funny. We always learn something new when we go and its amazing how much money these people pay for their houses and boats! This was interesting since we wanted to see what happened after the the latest hurricanes. Not much actually changed accept for a few new houses were being built. The ocean was a little rougher then usual but not bad and the sunset was obscured by the clouds. It was still a nice time.

My family and I truly enjoyed the Beach Island Shelling Cruise suggested by our friend. It was amazing! Captain Rob was welcoming, friendly, thorough and engaging with his knowledge of Naples and the waters we travelled. Robin was professional and showed his expertise with the sails and my husband and I enjoyed his conversation and hearing about his experiences in the Naples area.
The beach was lovely and there were SO many shells. We all enjoyed foraging for our favourite shells. We are excited to display them back home in Canada as a reminder of this family trip.
I would highly recommend sailing the Sweet Liberty if you’re visiting the Naples area and even if you’re a resident. We enjoyed it so very much!

The Sweet Liberty is our "must do" for those friends and family visiting us in Naples. You get to see beautiful homes and sail on the Gulf of Mexico. The crew makes the trip interesting and informative especially Captain Danny and mate Nick. I recommend booking well in advance especially if you want the sunset cruise which is quite amazing.

I sent my President's Club winners on a Sweet Liberty Sunset Cruise and everything from the planning to the event was executed very well by Susan, the owner. She communicated throughout the whole process leading up to the day of. There was a possible issue with weather, and she again, was in contact with me (I am an event planner) up to the moment she decided all was well.
The response from my team was that it was an amazing experience.
I had the sunset cruise catered - we did a private tour and it was worth every dollar.

My husband and I visited the Naples area from NYC this past weekend. We were researching different sunset cruises. We came upon Sweet Liberty Catamaran and after reading their reviews we decided to book a tour with them.
Best decision we made. We booked it for our last evening in Naples.
They were friendly, kind, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. They had stacks of blankets if you wanted to use. You could bring a cooler filled with whatever beverages you want. It was about two hours.
It was a very nice, intimate experience even though there was about 40 other people on board.
I highly recommend booking with Sweet Liberty if you want a calm, smooth sunset experience.

Nearly a private sail to Keewayden Island as only our group and one other booked the Sail & Shelling cruise on the one warm day between some cool rainy days. Graham and John were excellent hosts, crew and captain. The information was exceptional and we had a phenomenal trip. This is one of our favorite things to do when friends visit and this trip absolutely did not disappoint.

Another excellent cruise!
This was about our 20th time with the Sweet Liberty and crew and it has never disappointed. We usually do the sunset cruise but 2 of the last 4 times that cruise has already been booked so we have done the afternoon cruise. Either way you can't go wrong with their knowledge of the area, professionalism and service on board! This is definitely the best, most reasonablelby priced tour in the Naples area and bringing your own snacks and adult beverages on board makes it even that much better! Thanks again Sweet Liberty captain and staff. We'll see you again soon!

Sweet Liberty always offers a wonderful cruise! We often take our out of town guests on the sunset catamaran & we had a fabulous sunset this time. Boating through the Port Royal area is also fun, with running commentary on the beautiful homes & docked boats along the way. We had good weather, so we were actually able to get out into the Gulf for some delightful sailing, yay! I also love that you can bring your own drinks & snacks on board. Overall, highly recommended.

Yes, the boat was very nice and clean and there were restrooms.

What is the maximum number of people booked on sunset cruises?
Written May 24, 2020
It appears the max is 40, but at this time, a lower number. There were only 10 on the boat for our sunset cruise.

I am traveling to Naples in mid-January. Is the weather ok for this trip at that time or is it too cold in the evening?
Written December 30, 2018
Daytime temps can vary from low 60’s to mid 80’s. Boat tours operate depending on weather conditions. Check the weather for your dates.

Hi, my husband and my elderly parents will soon be taking this tour which we are all looking forward to! Giving my parents a choice of where to sit comfortably will be very important so we would like to arrive early enough to have a good choice for seating - we understand others will also arrive early. How early do you recommend arriving to have first choice for seating? Thanks!
Written March 16, 2018
Plan to arrive at least 30 min prior to scheduled departure to get first pick seating.

We were just there last week—not sure about other times of year, but when we went, there was a parking lot on the left about a block before you get to the traffic circle at the end of 8th street—very easy to park and free. The lot has a sign that says parking for Naples City Dock. Have a great time!!
