We were apprehensive about going because it was not our usual type of event to attend, but we ended up having a great time. It was fun! We had no idea what a swamp buggy was. We had a sandwich and a beer and an interesting day.

We got on the road a bit late but got to the "track" after it was in progress. What a hoot! Had seen this on TV but in person, it was so much fun. I had no idea there were so many variations on the swamp buggy. Today's events were the time trials, but the stands were pretty full. $10... More

Went to the races with my brother and sister-in-law last year, the first time any of us went. They had a ton of food and beverages on hand ( BBQ and cold beer). A lot of things for the kiddies to check on. The races were great watching the buggies trying to go around a track that had some deep... More

Great Redneck Fun in Naples! If you ever want to see Florida like it used to be, go see the Swamp Buggies at least once, then get back into your 4x4 and head down to Everglades City for a beer and gator bites! Be a Florida Cracker for a day and skip 5th Avenue for a change.

Picture a fair grounds with a very big swamp set up before plenty of bleachers. Now add some large and loud 'buggys' that look more like rocket ships with big wheels that race around a watery 'track' in the swamp and you have some idea of the mud buggy races. The day we went was sunny and warm (bring a... More

Think NASCAR in the swamp. Four, six and eight cylinder modified swamp buggies go around the course two times. The water is to six feet deep. You are really close to the action in the grandstands. Admission was $17, parking free and lots of concessions with food to eat. I especially loved the Gator Bites with hot sauce. Everything was... More

Nowhere else in the world can you see this form or exciting entertainment. Extremely modified vehicles in all shapes and sizes race through a 3 to 5.5 feet of bog water and mud. It's loud, it's exciting, it's entertaining and it's about as local as you can get. Tickets are $17.00 and kids 12 and under get in for free.... More

It would be pretty hard to describe a swamp buggy race to a mid-westerner. So when someone told be about it I had to see it for myself, and it's a definite "must see" while in Naples. It was a fun day seeing these crazy machines go around a track in the water and mud. Exciting race atmosphere with lots... More

Such a great time. You will not see racing like this any where else. You owe it your self to go see what it is all about. Bring a hat there is not much shade in the stands but you won't care. See top file dragster type Cara running in on the water

We went to the Swamp Buggy races in Naples, FL. I've never seen anything like this race before. They race older style jeeps and other fast buggies. They have food and merchandise vendors set up there if you get hungry or would like to buy a shirt or hat. It's definitely an interesting race to see and will definitely be... More
