We took the afternoon boat tour called the Essence of Estuary Eco Tour. Our guide Sarah was outstanding as she guided our boat around the estuary and down almost to Marco Island. We saw a great variety of birds and enjoyed watching a number of dolphins come and go. Sarah has great eyes and maneuvers the boat skillfully to make sure that all six passengers see all there is to see.

There were potential thunderstorms in the area when we were originally scheduled to depart. The crew at Rising Tide made the call to potentially lose business and cancelled the tour even though another operator went out. We re-scheduled for the afternoon and the storms continued. The next day, the crew was very attentive and communicative about the conditions. We got out midday and had a wonderful tour within Rookery Bay with great weather. The tour was very educational and had neat stops.

The Sunset Rookery Tour was fantastic. Our guides were very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, and just so passionate about their work. The boat was really comfortable and the wildlife was abundant! We learned so much about the area, and the efforts locals have made toward protection of the land and wildlife. I’ve never seen anything like the rookery. It was incredible to see all these species of birds congregating in one spot. I felt like i was in some David Attenborough narrated nature documentary. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in wildlife and perfect Florida sunsets.

The mangrove swamps were quite engaging and were realy brought to life by our leaders. We had a bit of wind and tide was against us, but they stayed with us and talked us back to launch site.. For that I am grateful. Pip Pip for Rising Tide guides.

This was a great way to spend a morning. Our guide Rick was was a biologist with so much knowledge of the entire ecosystem and an easy, engaging manner. From giving us basic kayaking tips to keeping an eye on everyone in our diverse group, both guides were very attentive and set an enjoyable pace. I highly recommend.

We took the Essence of Estuary EcoCruise and learned a good deal about Rookery Bay Estuary. Captain Nick is a Naples native and had many funny, interesting, and informative stories to share. He did not have a canned presentation but spoke conversationally, answering our questions and explaining what we saw, according to the day's tide level, the seasons, etc. We saw several wading birds and pelicans but only one dolphin and no manatees, neither of which were expected. We saw a column of moon jellies as they floated past, which was a treat. With a limit of only six passengers, we felt safe and comfortable during this pandemic. We can highly recommend this nature cruise.

Our guide, Sarah, provided us a great overview of the estuary and surrounding area before we went out on the boat for the 5 to 7 pm sunset tour. The boat was comfortable for our party of 6.

We saw many birds and dolphins. Sarah was very knowledgeable about the animals and ecosystems and answered our many questions. The estuary is beautiful and the highlight of our sunset cruise was observing the hundreds of birds returning to an island to roost for the night. It was an amazing sight.

Highly recommend this boat tour if you are in the area. Just be sure that you bring bug spray/wipes as the mosquitoes came out after dark.

We just finished the most spectacular, awe inspiring tour that I have been a part of in Southwest Florida
As soon as Captain Morgan left the dock, the six of us were immersed in a world of natural beauty and solitude . There were Eagles and Osprey feeding babies their evening meal while Pelicans and Herons were soaring right past the boat

We could tell Captain Morgan loved her job as she regaled us with stories of the inhabitants that surrounded us in this pristine wonderland.

We cruised for thirty minutes until we reached the beautiful deserted beach on Keywaudin Island . We spent at least a half hour on the barrier island where we witnessed a spectacular sunset and a pristine beach covered with undisturbed shells as far as the eye could see

When the sun had set we cruised back in the dark and we were delighted by the full moon rising over the mangrove islands

The full moon rising accompanied us all the way back .
Captain Morgan’s enthusiasm for all the beauty we were immersed in for three hours was infectious:
Don’t miss this tour. It books up fast as there are only so many full moon nights. Rising Tide does a wonderful job

Rented a tandem Kayak from Rising Tide explorers. They were incredibly helpful in dropping it off at a convenient locataion as scheduled. They also helped with getting it set up on my car and providing any accessories you needed. The Kayak performed well in heavy wind/surf and was quite comfortable. It was also a great valute for the money! I would recommend Rising Tide for any kayak rental you may be considering and will definitey use them again ourselves.

Ryan was great. He delivered and picked up the kayak rentals as promised and provided great information regarding the area. He even gave us great places to have lunch after our kayak trip. I highly recommend using Rising Tide Explorers for you next adventure as I will be using them again and again for our group. They also offer great tours as well.
