This park is gator headquarters! Located right between Lakes Beauclair and Carlton. Some of the biggest gators I’ve ever seen. The park has many amenities. Camping, boating, hiking, fishing, picnicking.. you name it. Open 8am-8pm everyday and admission is FREE. You don’t believe me about...More
If you enjoy nature trails, boating, or camping you will love Trimble Park. Beautiful oak trees shade the nature trails to the boardwalks. The campgrounds are purposefully kept small to avoid overcrowding. Surrounding lakes keep this beautiful place cooler in the Summer, and covered picnic...More
Trimble park was nice. You could walk on the boardwalk and see all kinds of animals in Lake Dora. We saw different types of cards and an alligator. What we didn’t like was the moss hanging from the trees. That kind of gross this out.
We took our two lab dogs and spent 3 days on our motorcoach in the RV portion of the park. It was wonderful. Beautiful lake views, lovely walking trails, and lots of bird watching. I highly recommend this county campground. No sewer hook ups, but...More

Another nice well kept park is Kelly's Park, Apopka. You WILL see Otters, Deer, the odd Gator, and Brown Bears traipse through to visit the Dumpster outside the Pub just down the road. It also has an amazing Aquafier Spring that pours out Thousands of Gallons a minute. Take an inner car tube and ride the River from its source.
