We booked a private tour of Little Havana for 12 colleagues for an offsite in Miami. The tour was very well organized and highly informative. They accommodated a bunch of dietary restrictions and we’re flexible on last minute changes. Would highly recommend!

My daughter and I were visiting South Beach. Jennifer Prociello was our tour guide. she was wonderful and brought the architecture and food of the area to life for us. It was a wonderful way to get to know the area and its history. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Ralphie is hands-down the greatest tour guide I’ve ever experienced & my family agrees. At the beginning of the tour he told we’d spend a day building relationships with the local merchants in Little Havana. I was skeptical bc....how could that be possible. Well....it was true bc every establishment knows him & welcomes him (& his group) into their place! He lives in this community & is clearly well loved by them. We ate wonderful Cuban cuisine and had a day of full immersion into this culture. Ralphie is deeply knowledgeable & a beautiful person. Another quick point is that I did a Little Havana food tour 8 months w Miami Food Tours - it was good and few dollars less than this tour but not even close to the quality of this Food Tours in Miami excursion. Sign up & enjoy your experience- you won’t regret it!

The three stars was only because there was more history than expected, didn’t mind listening to some history while eating but too much of it overall, never rode a trolley like it said we would in the q&a like I read on the website. Our tour guide however was great. We had a couple set backs and he really stepped it up and was extremely accommodating. He does know his information too. I just wish the website would be more clear on how much history is given and how much sitting and eating there is compared to walking and standing. Being on your feet for the majority of the three hours was exhausting.

I settled for Faruk’s tour when I missed a spot at “The Original Cuban Food Tour of Little Havana.”
After enduring a 40-minute lecture consisting of random Wikipedia bites and biased and misleading political opinions about Cuba from someone who neither has credentials nor relation to Cuba, I started wondering why this was called a food tour. You do get to sample a delicious Cuban coffee, tiny sandwich, pastelitos, and churros. However, the bizarre history rants and lengthy discussions of a mural on the side of a local McDonald’s were unbearable.
If you're a foodie and would like to learn about Little Havana food, please do your research and check out other tour offerings.

We've been on several food tours and this was by far the worst. Most of the food was of such low quality that it ended up in the trash. Our guide, Faruk, commented that "most people hate this one" and (looking at the overflowing garbage with our tossed food), "Everyone is too full to eat the Cuban?". We were not full. The food was not good. Politics should have been avoided by everyone on a tour yet Faruk managed to tell each guset what was wrong with their home city/state, and repeatedly brought up inflamatory (and sometimes bizzare) opinions regarding local, state and national politics, and the legitimacy of COVID. When not sharing his political views he shared "facts" like, "Elian Gonzalas was kidnapped by the people of Little Havana and they wanted to impress all the camera crews that came to the area so that is how the tourist area of Little Havana came to be". Two group members walked away from the tour before it was even over. It was three gruelling hours trying to be polite to an offensive man. The only edible items were the Cuban coffee and tiny cup of sugarcane water.

WoW, WoW, WoW. I first want to say that in not even one percent any of this review is true. If I didn't guide the tour I would maybe believe that some of the other guides really did something wrong. Luckily there is always an option for the other side of the story to be told and there are other two groups on the same day who left an excellent review and said all was perfect. First, I want to say that politics was spoken on the tour, but only in a historical context, and the influence Cuban American politics had so the Little Havana communities were formed. Elian Gonzales's so-called "Kidnapping" was mentioned, but only in a way that the Castros government was trying to portray it as such. We are all proud of the community's efforts to ensure a much better future for him. There were no camera crew impressing mentioned. BS. Little Havana existed way before that historical event and it will for long after. I said it's the city that decided to invest more in the area to have a central place for community events, like Viernes Culturales or other events that promote local culture and I even introduced everyone to the lady that organizes the community events. Those two stories are not connected at all, whatsoever. As far as for Covid19 talk, I only speak about it before the tour when I ask people if they had any symptoms or share the recommended info from CDC on mask mandates. My whole family had the COVID19 and I ended up in a hospital because of it. I have no clue what you are talking about. Completely. As far as the food, each one of the places is selected so to try tastings of their best food. This is the first time I ever hear someone complain. Some of these restaurants are world famous. The Cuban sandwich tasting spot is one of the staples of our community and we will continue to work together in the future. I just feel bitterness and anger in your review and hopefully, you will find your peace, but it's not nice to lie and slander. I will take this criticism and hope to do better every day and maybe make sure your next Miami visit will be more pleasant.

Authentic: Ralphie (Raffi) as an American born Cuban, is as authentic as they come! His passion and knowledge imparted in a casual and fun way! Stay tuned for the surprise at the end of his tour to illustrate his authenticity bonafides!

Belly-Filling: Some other tours mention skimping on food... NOT this one! Come hungry because you will leave (very) full! Do you think you’d leave hungry if you were invited to a Cuban’s home? This is no different only there are about 7 different kitchen stops! Oh and mindful of food aversions too.

CoViD-safe: Masked up and social distanced in public areas. Respectful.

I took this tour with a friend and we both had an amazing time. Annalise, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, you can tell she is very passionate for what she does and was very prompt to answer questions. The food was good and traditional which is what we wanted, our group was small so there was plenty to share and feel satisfied. We stopped in a few stores but there was no pressure to buy stuff; more like good to know in case you wanted to circle back and get souvenirs.

We did the free walking tour and it was amazing! It makes the difference between simply looking at the place and really understand how it is and what it means. Definitely recommended

We have visited Miami Beach many times and this tour was a great introduction to Little Havana. The two stops at the local cigar shops was a bonus.
