A fun and easy place to relax and enjoy the south Florida lifestyle. Upon entering the door it is an easy 60mph to 0 in no time flat. Drinks are generous, service is good, and the goings on; better than television. P.S. sand on floor wear comfortable shoes.

Stopped in here for a cold beer after lunch. Prices were good and service was friendly. The place is really cool. Looks like an outside beach bar. There is sand on the floor and the bar chairs all look like beach chairs. They have a Miss Pac Man machine and had a free pig roast buffet for the 4th of July. Wish we had found this place on our first night in town.

Cool place to have a drink and play pool but if u wanna talk it's a lil bit loud but it's perfect for a small company to play pool. The sand inside makes u fell like u r on the beach :)

We visited the Sandbar on a couple of occasions and found it friendly and the beer cold however, the toilets are reminiscent of a Thai prison and lacking any form of privacy with the urinals and pot in the same area with no doors! I know the Americans are a friendly bunch however I didn't quite fancy a general chit chat whilst answering the call of nature. the American folk have a system where upon they like a tip, and this I don't have a problem with. Tipping is a gratuity that is given for exceptional service in England and also every country I have visited except for the Sandbar where you get told to tip! Furthermore I get told that the tip I left was infact lousy and then asked me abruptly to put one on my credit card. This is my tip watch your bill and avoid the toilets!

I’d never tried this place before even though I live close by. I accept that when ordering through a delivery service that food may be cold on arrival, that I’m ok with as it’s out of the business’s hands.
What I really dislike though is being sent burnt nachos , dry overcooked brisket, a tasteless chicken “ Katsu” sandwich ( wasn’t breaded, so not a Katsu) and undercooked corn .
I really hate the fact it was so bad I had to say something as these are really hard times for small business’s to be in but it was dreadful and it needs to be better.
Hopefully next time we try it out it’s improved .

I loved this place from the moment my shoes squished the sandy floor at the door. As a bartender I seek out places that meet several qualifications. One of those is that there's an eclectic crowd at that place, and Sandbar has it. You've got your local city dwellers, white trash from non-coastal Florida whining about Bud Light prices, cougars trying to meet up with bachelor dudes who are also checking other dudes out, gays, sports fanatic bros, and everyone else in between. You feel comfortable in your own skin and that's what makes this bar so worthy of 5 stars.
The bartender I had was Ashley and even though I just ordered easy peasy beer, her service was on point. My heart went out to her when I noticed some customers outraged at their tab and she handled it like a champ. She held her ground but wasn't just flat out rude, and watching that was another thing that made me like that place. The staff respects everyone, even when you're making a fool of yourself over a $60 bar tab for 4 people.
WARNING: be ready to catch second-hand smoke clouds hard. There's not really any open ventilation in this joint so that cigg smoke lingers.

I am a local and am a regular. The one brunette waitress has always been rude but offset by the super upbeat good blonde. Well she has moved on to bigger and better things. Now there are 2 super rude brunette bartenders. Im not sure why customer service has gone out the window and unless you are male and tip over the top you are treated like trash. Dare anyone to test it. Females treated like garbage. Males smiles giggles strong drinks. Closing at the end of the month. Not a moment too soon. The bartenders are why they are going out of business!

This bar was amazing. Bartender (Chelsea) was great! Helped us find places to eat and suggested new bars to try. The locals were also very friendly and welcoming of out of towners. Bar had a beach feel. Floor was covered with sand, but not in a messy way. Pool tables and a lot of places to sit. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or two.

Kept the name but the atmosphere is terrible. Horrible service and rude to paying customers. There are better bars in the area. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! The beach sand and vibes are all gone.

I live close by and was excited with the reopening. Stopped in for a beer. I was happy to see they have 16 TVs! BUT....they had only 2 baseball games playing in the midst of multiple pennant races. They had 2 car auctions, the food channel and the rest were were comprised of sports talk without the close captioning on. Hopefully things will change when football season starts and the manager figures things out. I will check back.

Fun locals hangout bar! Floor is all sand and they have the old style beach lifeguard chairs...great drinks and fun ambiance. A must for locals and tourists away from the South Beach crowds and prices!

Hello, me again. Does the new location still have a a cool vibe, sandy floor and pool tables? And is it really only open till 8:00pm on the weekends?
