Great massages on Mar 1.
Mar 2020
We went to the spa on Saturday the 29th to inquire about availability and was able to book 3 massages early Sunday Mar 1.

We arrived 1/2 an hour early on Sunday and checked in. We were shown the facilities and locker room and had time to use the steam bath and jacuzzi. A locker was provided with robes and sandals for the massage. The change room/locker room is well appointed, clean and bright. The steam room and jacuzzi were pleasant and a good way to start relaxing. We then waited in the relaxation room to sip some tea and wait for our masseuses.

Lenny, Mary and Natalia were our assigned masseuses. They led us to our respective rooms. You chose your preferred oil and you are left to get under the covers of the massage table. We all had Flow massages (one of us changed once consulting the masseuse. All 3 ladies provided us with what we all consider the best massages we've ever had. I personally had Lenny, she is a trained masseuse and an acupuncturist, she was absolutely incredible and I wouldn't hesitate to ask for her again. Thank you to Lenny, Mary and Natalia!

I'll mention that a gratuity is automatically added to your bill. Seems to be common with everything in South Beach.

Great classes

I love this place because of good classes of yoga snd bare. There‘re a few different, very professional teachers and I feel every time welcomed there and feeling amazing after the class.
Highly recommended:)

Terrible spa experience
Nov 2019 • Couples
Terrible experience at the spa here. We are staying at the hotel and had booked spa treatments. They did let us know that the treatments would be taking place in suites because the spa rooms were under construction, but didn't tell us all the details. When we went to the spa early to use the amenities they told us to go to the other tower to check-in to a suite on the 4th floor. After we did that, they told us to sit down and they would be with us soon. We were confused because we had wanted to use the jacuzzi, steam room, etc and it was still 45 minutes before our appt. Keep in mind we are sitting in a hotel room suite so it's not a relaxing pre-spa room experience. After 15 minutes we asked what's going on and if they are going to take us to the other area so we can enjoy the steam room, etc and the lady rudely tells us no and that we should have done that before we came up here. Awful communication from spa employees and rudeness from all involved. I would avoid. It's not worth the cost- go somewhere else.

Great facility!!
Jul 2019 • Couples
We were fortunate enough to use the fitness facilities here as guests at the Hyatt Centric. First and foremost, very friendly and professional employees here. The fitness room was excellent, with great equipment and amenities. The steam baths, whirlpools and Zen Room were all available for us to use. I drank a lot of cucumber water (lol)!
Highly recommended if you are in the South Beach area.

After an incredible experience at the Loews Hotel I had become accustomed to excellent service. I went for a gel polish removal/manicure and a pedicure. Hands down the longest and most painful gel polish removal ever..... I was stressed out and their was no massage, no special relaxation. The end result looked nice but nothing special. The pedicure was okay best part was the soaking of the feet. I was there well over 2 hours and they have an automatic 20% tip. Shared how long I was there and the service was not great, they genuinely stared at me with no comment other than yes 2 hours is appropriate.

$140 later and nothing was relaxing about the process.

BEWARE! STAY AWAY! In September I stayed at the Loew'e Miami Beach hotel and went for a massge at their Exhale spa. The Exhaled attedant gave me a locker in which to place my things and told me to lock it with a personal PIN. Upon returning to the locker after my massage, my PIN no longer worked and when the attendant opened it with the universal key, we saw that my precious watch was no longer there! I tried desperately to get assistance from Exhale/Loews (which are both owned by HYATT) but no one seemed interested in assisting me. I was directed to different people until finally a security guard took down some notes. I was shocked at the lack of concern!--basic steps were not taken to help me or thwart the theft and I had to leave to catch my flight home out of the country completely devastated. Since then, it has been virtually impossible to get any update on the matter from Loews/Exhale/Hyatt--weeks later I get an email from their claims department handlers, Gallagher Bassett. They were horrendous--rarely returned my phone calls and two months(!) after, they transferred my claim to another attendant, and after prodding for a response, I was told that their position remains that they are not liable for lack of evidence. I don’t get it--my watch went missing after I was told to put my items in Exhale’s lockable locker by an Exhale attendant under the auspices of security, remedial measures were not taking during a critical period right after, and I have since been virtually stone-walled from getting any updates or speaking to anyone. I just cannot believe that a hotel like Loews Miami that markets itself as being a “luxury hotel unlike any other,”providing “a whole new state of relaxation” would treat its patrons so poorly and so contrary to what they state! And Exhale is exactly in the same vein --it states on its website that “Your Wellbeing is Everything” but Exhale caused me one of the most stressful, devastating experiences of my life! Both of these are Hyatt companies which is telling about Hyatt and both of these these companies clearly have no integrity! STAY AWAY PLEASE! It was bad enough that my watch was stolen from their locked locker, but the complete lack of concern, rudeness, coldness, and difficulty I was met with in trying to resolve this was truly appalling!

Impersonal big resort feel
Sep 2017 • Solo
Wish I had read these reviews before booking! Definitely felt like just another customer - pushed in and out of a chain store - without a personal or nurturing feel. And my masseuse was wearing rubber gloves. I have had massages all over the world and never experienced that before, it felt awful. Spa treatments are over priced in general in Miami but I expect more for my money

Horrible Masseuse
Aug 2017 • Couples
Booked a deep tissue massage and was extremely disappointed with it. I felt so ripped off and sad that I didn't get the massage that I asked for. I have had over 40 massages over the years and this was in the top 3 worst i have ever had. He basically rubbed my skin with a ton of oil and that is all. When i left it was like it never happened. The women in charge that day was very nice to offer me 20% off and a $50 voucher on my next visit but I have already spent over $100 and don't really want to do so again.

What bothers me the most is that I notified the masseuse that he could put more force but he didn't so what more could I do. He lacked skills and that was not my fault

Terrible Treatment and Totally Incompetent
Apr 2017
If you read my long list of reviews, I have only reviewed one place this poorly. Now, with this, I will unfortunately have two negative reviews. I came to Loews to relax after a very stressful couple of weeks. My husband noticed that I still wasn't sleeping. He surprised me by making reservations at Exhale Spa! He had several hours all planned out for me. I was so excited! I went down to the spa 15 min prior to my first appointment. When I told the check-in girl, Shavanna, what I was checking in for, she replied, "You're not on the schedule." After a period of time, she just slapped a clipboard down and told me to fill it out. NONE of this was with empathy or concern. No, "I'm sorry about this confusion". Nothing. Then, she took me back to change and sit in the Zen room to wait for my therapist. She didn't show me the amenities, hot neck warmer, NOTHING. I asked her if my not being on the schedule was going to be a problem...I mean, I had several things that were supposed to be lined up for me. She said NOTHING. Or, maybe she muttered 'no'? I waited for 30min PAST my appointment time, by myself, in the Zen room with crappy, slow jazz-ish music. I was anxious about how the day would go, and then, NOTHING happened. NO therapist. Nothing. I was so angry that I simply got dressed and went to the front desk. I had been there for 45 min in total and nothing happened. When I angrily told Shavanna to make sure the charges didn't go to my room, she said, "Room 11...., OK." No, "What happened?" or "I'm so sorry". NOTHING. The worst part is, my husband tried to surprise me with this. :( I left more anxious and upset than I was when I left for Miami. My husband also told me that when he made the appointment, he was looking for guidance to figure out what would be good things to schedule me for. The person on the phone was unhelpful and not excited to help. Shavanna, maybe?

Great Barre Class - Don't Skip your workout while on Vacation!
Oct 2016 • Solo
I had a wonderful class with Amber. The workout was challenging but with modifications for skill level and included multiple muscle groups: legs, arms, abs, glutes. The studio was clean with mats complimentary and props available (weights, balls and bands). Will definitely return when vacationing in the area again.
