Small room off the lobby of a modern hotel. We walked in in a Saturday night. Before we even made it to the “Cabaret” we heard the singing....if you call it that. We thought maybe it was open mic night. Worst. Singing. Ever. We turned around and walked out. Based on all the reviews here and elsewhere we had high hopes. What a bust!…

We live in Miami and my wife got a promotional email about this place. We went on a Sat night as it looked like a nice way to spend an evening. The place is small and it was full, but no problem we found a spot at the adjacent bar. We ordered 2 wine glasses at $15 apiece which is par for the course at Miami Beach. The glasses arrived only 25% full. Usually wine glasses are near half filled so that was a rip off. Then I asked to get my parking ticket validated for the $10 discount. The bartender sent me to the front desk. The front desk knew nothing about that and sent me back to the bar to ask 'the guy with the tie.' The guy with the tie knew nothing and said to talk to the manager. At that point I gave up and went back to my wife. Long story short my wife hunted down the manager and finally got the ticket validated and we paid the bill and left. When I paid, they brought the ApplePay thingy without showing me the bill and I left a 15% tip. After I paid I got the receipt and saw they added a 20% service charge on top of the 15% I gave them. All in all it was a terrible horrible experience. As far as the Piano Bar and the entertainment, it was OK but unfortunately we were not able to enjoy it due to the way we were treated.…

We wasted money on an Uber to get there. Literally NOBODY was there but a singer at the piano who looked and sounded like she herself couldn't wait to get out of there. We thought, okay, let's go to the bar and get a drinks and give it a 15 minutes. The bar had the worst selection of drinks imaginable. (Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, Bud Light, that's about it.) We just looked at each other thinking the same thing, then left. I was expecting something like Marie's Crisis or The Duplex in NYC. This was just an empty hotel bar with nothing going on.…

Response from edisonf98, Manager at The Cabaret South Beach

I do not know which bar you went to, but it was not The Cabaret! We have a large selection of wines, many choices in beers, and hundreds of different liquors. We also have a specialty drink menu. We are usually very busy, but it all depends on the night and at what time you arrive.

We enjoyed this club experience so much that we attended two back-to-back nights. Great food and bar service to go with an interactive cast. We will go back.

This is in a hotel lobby area. Be prepared to pay for parking at the hotel. The piano player and singers are excellent and fun and double as you server. The prices for drinks are on average for South Beach liquor . You will have fun if your with the right date or another couple who likes to have fun. You will have a good time at The Cabaret. Why not stay out till 1 am and close it down !…
