The Cabaret was just one hell of a good night out.

Excellent musicians and singers. Generating a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. With the added bonus of great food and good quality wines. At an affordable price.

A special thank you to the talented owner who is also a talented pianist / singer. He introduced me to 4 girls during the evening. Who took me under their wing.

In England it is unusual for an attractive girl to be so kind to a male stranger. To find 4 on the same table and as so friendly/funny, amazing!

I just will never forget their kindness or the fun night they gave me. If any of them are ever in London. I hope they look me up. I owe them all a reciprocal night out.

Cabaret just seems conducive to bring the best out in peoples social behaviour. 4hrs goes by like 10 minutes, such fun!

I am going again.

Regards

Mark

I cannot rave enough about this small little gem. We were visiting from Illinois, and read about this on Trip Advisor. We had been a little disappointed by SoBe and the music we had found, we had heard comparisons to Nashville and New Orleans and weren't finding anything near as good, until we found The Cabaret. It reminded me of an intimate party with friends, except these friends had amazing talent!! Victor the Piano Player blew us away, the kid had more talent than one person should be allowed. Not only was he musically gifted, but incredibly funny as well. And if that wasn't enough, our waitress was not only a great server... friendly and funny, but she got up there and belted out a few tunes herself. Oh and did I mention the bartender and owner did too. What a great night, we had intended on calling it a early night because we flew out the next day, but we couldn't bring ourselves to leave. If we lived in Miami, we would be regulars.

My friend and I found this place on our walk back to our hotel from dinner. As we changed for the evening festivities, when we planned on going to the famous Mango's club, I looked up Cabaret and found the great reviews. So, we decided to pop in before heading to Mango's. Loved it!! It's a small understated place, but the music and the skills were amazing! The bar staff are also the acts, and Janae is particularly gifted with the voice of an angel. Staff and patrons were all lovely. We weren't keeping track of time and next thing we knew, the night was over! No Mango's for us and we weren't sorry one bit!!
An impromptu night at The Cabaret was the best way to end our birthday weekend!

We wasted money on an Uber to get there. Literally NOBODY was there but a singer at the piano who looked and sounded like she herself couldn't wait to get out of there. We thought, okay, let's go to the bar and get a drinks and give it a 15 minutes. The bar had the worst selection of drinks imaginable. (Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, Bud Light, that's about it.) We just looked at each other thinking the same thing, then left. I was expecting something like Marie's Crisis or The Duplex in NYC. This was just an empty hotel bar with nothing going on.

I do not know which bar you went to, but it was not The Cabaret! We have a large selection of wines, many choices in beers, and hundreds of different liquors. We also have a specialty drink menu. We are usually very busy, but it all depends on the night and at what time you arrive.

Went to South Beach for 4 nights and ended up here two nights. What a great option if you are not up for walking along the madness of Ocean Drive but aren't ready to turn in at 10. The talent is amazing (saw Victor Valdez one night - if you can go see him - GO!!) He is the quintessential cabaret musician but with more talent and personality than you can imagine. He had the whole room singing and laughing all night (this guy should be on Broadway...seriously!) The service, by the singing wait staff, is great and the host (Edison) is lovely. If you like piano music, live singing, show tunes, or good cocktails then head here. Stay for one hour or 4 - you won't be disappointed.

i've lived in Miami Beach for almost 20 years, so I've seen a lot of clubs come and go. Cabaret, fills a huge void in the local entertainment scene, and keeps us returning again and again. We've taken fiends and family from ages 20-86 and they all have gone back.

I almost always run into someone I know here, and have also met interesting people from all over the world looking to have a good time in a special place. The service is excellent, drinks reasonably priced and the entertainment is top notch. Parking can be tricky in SOBE, but there are many surface lots and a couple of graages in easy walking distance.

Keep an eye out for special shows featuring guest artists here you won't likely find anywhere else in South FL.. The regular singers, pianists, musicians and performers change, but the mangement does an amazing job of staffing the place with talented, friendly singers/servers who keep us coming back.

I suggest making reservations for best seating, however it is a relatively small venue so you'll be fine even if you don't have a table up front. Visit here early during your vacation and I almost guarantee you'll visit more than once. We came here on the night we were married to celebrate - it's just that great! If you don't love Cabaret, check your pulse.

On my recent visit to SOBE, I was taken with all the sights, sounds and glitz but if I was staying for any longer period or lived there, the big boom of SOBE could wear thin. That's why The Cabaret feels like a gem. Stumbling in, the vibe was festive yet very different from Ocean Drive. It turns out it was a staff entertainment night. All the servers must try out to work there and they are all entertainers. That night, we were entertained by brilliant singers as well as a tap dancer; it was a treat. Again, the servers are super friendly and talented. The lounge is decorated to match the entertainment.

I'm glad we stumbled upon Cabaret.

We walked in, took two breaths and walked out, almost gagging. Smelled like a mixture of old vomit and rotten fish. We would have enjoyed the piano bar atmosphere, but were driven away by the horrible odor. BLEH!

Unfortunately, you came in the day after the exterminator sprayed. This left us with a bad chemical odor for a few days. However, it is no longer. We are sorry that this was your first impression. We hope that you will give us another try!

I lived in Chicago in the past and one of the things I miss most is piano bars. Cabaret South Beach brings that "spick-easy" underground yet shady glamour to South Beach. From the red curtains, black painted walls crystal chandeliers mixed and matched. The lovely white piano is extremely visible as it contrast with the rest of the color palette. The staff is very friendly and the you look up to see the same server singing theater quality entertaining the whole crowd. Not overpriced at all compared to all other venues on the beach, make sure you go visit, you will not regret it"

We had a girls week in South beach and wanted some fun night life. We enjoy piano bars in NYC and saw this one on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. REALLY enjoyed its friendly vibe and great piano players and talented singers. Every night is completely different. We enjoyed it so much on Tuesday night - we went back on Wednesday night. Fancy drinks are only $10 and there is no cover or minimum. There is no food served so eat dinner first and come have your after dinner drinks and entertainment here.
