Ok, so the bar was completely empty when I went, but they let my puppy in so FIVE STARS! Radio Bar is a super laid back and swanky spot. The wall in lined with vintage radios, and if you step outside into the little patio area and look up, you can catch a glimpse of the still active radio tower overhead. It served Larry King for years, and is still active, serving a Christian rock station. There is really awesome art all over the place, the pool table is free, and the cocktails are carefully and deliciously crafted. All their syrups are made from scratch, and their herbs are fresh! My pooch was welcome with a nice big bowl of H20, and the mixologists were a joy. I had the Radio Cooler - Hendrick's Gin, Elderflower, watermelon, basil, and lemon. It was very refreshing, and the perfect drink after walking on the beach all day. For my second drink I tried the Radio Mule - essentially a Moscow Mule, but with Blueberry Mint reduction added... next time, I'll take two! If you plan on taking your pooch, take them around happy hour when it's not too terrible crowded. Great little spot; I can't believe it took me this long to check it out! Leo and I will definitely be back!

I recently visited Radio Bar on South Beach twice. Once on a week night with a girlfriend and once on a weekend night with my husband. The first visit the place was pretty empty until about 11 p.m. No one came over to the couch in about 15 minutes so I went over to the bar where I was informed that there was no table service at that time. I was a little miffed that no one let me know but I ordered drinks and took them to my couch myself. But the very cool music, R&B mostly that evening more than made up for the lack of service. The place is dark, has a pool table and ring toss to a hook game in the front and a large back room with a oversized Jango game. They allow smoking, which is unusual, but because they don't serve food per se, it is permitted. So it has that dank, smokey atmosphere of a dive bar. On the weekend night, I went later and it was much busier with a lot of young locals. It was a different music genre but still a great mix. There was one server so service is a bit sketchy but still if you're looking for that dive bar atmosphere with great music mix in the heart of South Beach, this is the spot.

This place was great! A nice, off the beaten path in South Beach. We were not impressed with the selection of tacky restaurants on Ocean Drive, so this quick walk (about 10 mins) was worth it! Crafted cocktails were fantastic, and the decorations/artwork were so cool. SO CHEAP for happy hour!

This place is great if you are a local! ITs got all the right things. Friendly bar tenders, good drinks, the music is good. You can stop in with friends and enjoy a drink away from the tourists, it is also nestled in-between some fantastic restaurants.

This is a fun bar in the SoFi area of South Beach. The bartenders are creative and they have a great happy hour. They serve free popcorn.
