    Piece of History
This speakeasy dive bar is definitely a landmark in Miami Beach. The ambience is unique, feels like a time capsule. It was a speakeasy during prohibition and a filming location for Miami Vice in 1989. Also, Anthony Bourdain's one of the favorite dive bars in the world.

    Perfect dive bar
If you are a fan of the original "Miami Vice" television show, or a follower of the late Anthony Bourdain, this is a place to visit while in South Beach. It is small, dimly lit and usually busy. A perfect dive bar

    A night to remember
I witnessed a pickle fly across the room, narrowly missing the bartender's head. Turns out, it was part of an impromptu pickle-juggling competition between two patrons. Only at Mac's, folks, only at Mac's. They mush have brought it as the bar doesn't serve any food. In conclusion, Mac's Club Deuce isn't just a bar – it's an experience. Whether you're looking to witness pickle acrobatics or partake in some good old-fashioned people-watching, this dive bar gem has it all. So, grab your sense of humor and prepare for a night of unforgettable absurdity.

    Vintage Character
Our tour guide Damian highly praised this Speakeasy Bar, which he included in his exclusive "Damian's Guide Map" distributed to everyone after the Art Deco walking tour. I have to admit, this establishment exudes a unique charm. Amidst the bustling and touristy atmosphere of South Beach, it stands out with its vintage character, rich history, and connections to pop culture.

Old time bar, with an old time feel and old time prices
Mac's Club deuce is an old time bar, with an old time feel and old time prices. My wife and I did our "Deuce Diligence" and turned up in early May to have a lazy afternoon beer and a talk. The bar lived up to its reputation as being friendly, chatty, musical and smoky (I don't know how that is allowed in this day and age, but we knew about it in advance and were happy to tolerate it). The beer selection was all canned or bottles, but the La Rubia suited us at $7 a can (much cheaper than the $10 to $15 a block away on Ocean Drive).........and 8.00AM to 5.00PM is Happy Hour......so the bar-person gives you a special casino chip with your change to trade for another drink! 9 hours to get very happy! The casino chips are special to the bar and make great souvenirs......So I didn't always take my extra can. All in all, a great place to chill just a block from Ocean Drive.

Best Dive Bar in Florida & the Oldest in Miami Beach
"The Deuce," as locals call it, is the oldest bar in Miami Beach (and Miami-Dade County for that matter). I lived in Miami Beach for 10 years and the Deuce is always at the top of my list for beer break and other libations to escape the summer heat, especially during their long happy hour. It's dark and the A/C is on full blast. During happy hour, all drinks are 2 for 1. You pay and you get a chip for your second round. Cash it in then or pocket it for later. You're not going to find a Modelo Especial anywhere on the beach for $7, much less a pair of them. Locals come here for a reason. One of the absolutely best things about Mac's Club Deuce is the staff. In the 20+ years I've been going there as a local and a tourist, they've always employed great bartenders who are prompt, friendly and professional. I want to give a special shout out to Jason, who served us on multiple days during our August 2024 trip. Super friendly guy and very inviting. Thanks, Jason! Side note: The bar is full-liquor and is cash only. Smoking is permitted, so there's no food served, but the best sandwich in the world is across the street at La Sandwicherie.

The bartenders have a nasty reputation there for years The berate clients for silly reasons. They have a biker mentality. They scream at clients and this has been going on for years. The bar seems to have an age prejudice against seniors. They have a history of sweeping your unfinished drinks when you are not looking. The drinks are over priced and watered down and nasty tasting. Volatile, mean spirited regulars are allowed to be confrontational to peaceful visitors. This is the worst kind of place, an expensive dive bar with a bad attitude. STAY AWAY unless you live to be abused.

Was advised to go here from another traveller so I gave it a go.

No pints, cash only, already wasn’t the best start, bartenders seemed very miserable, like they didn’t like you from the get go, or maybe they didn’t like working? Bartender was lingering around way to much while my partner decided on a drink so she ended up rushing and just getting the same as me, give people time and space to decide.

Decided not to tip as a tip is for good service etc, they seemed even more moody from there on, left after first drink and wouldn’t return.

I get this place is ‘grungy’ and all that, but I think it just gives staff an excuse to act as moody as possible with you, cheer up! It could be worse.

Don't go and you lose. If you want flash and glitz, go to another place. This is a real old school bar period. Bartenders are great. People from all walks of life enter here. And La Sandwicherie right across the street to eat at. Another place not to miss. You can eat and drink very well and do so on a low budget. I could literally spend all my time in Miami Beach going to the beach, going to the Deuce, and eating at La Sandwicherie.

Super cheap drinks, great location, great service. Opens early, not the biggest selection of beer, but good enough. No cigars??? More smoke than a Mad Men episode, but no cigars?

I went to this bar to have a drink. As I walked in I saw the bartender yelling at a couple and though they must be drunk tourists that got out of hand. I live in Miami and usually avoid expensive bars that charge $6 dollars for a beer when I can get a 6 pack for that price.

I went in and ordered a beer for $6 and gave the bartender a 2 dollar tip for a total of 8 dollars for a single beer. The bully bartender told me it was happy hour and it was 2 for the price of 1.

When I ordered my 2nd beer he said that will be $6. I told him that it was my second beer and since it is happy hour it was supposed to be free. At this point he yells at me “The beer is 6 dollars if you don’t pay for the beer I opened I will call the cops for leaving the bar without paying for the beer”.

I was surprised by his yelling at me and his bully altitude. I believe that karma takes care of bad people. I paid and left. I can’t believe that this bartender rips off customers and intimidates them by yelling at them and rips them off by threatening them.

I would avoid this bar and definitely not take a date unless you want to be humiliated in fount of them.
