The entire boardwalk is well maintained as is wide, smooth and isn't just one straight hit of pavement. This makes for a great walk, run, or as we did - longboard! We rented a couple of boards and took to the boardwalk and that was it, we didn't want to stop. Cruising along in the sun, along the smooth pavement,... More

Sooner or later everyone travels along the boardwalk. Skaters, bikers, skateboarders and the inevitable half-naked joggers. The place is an attraction all its own and is a must as it takes a meandering route right along the whole beach. Worth the effort.

This is a great place to stretch your legs for a walk early in the morning or around early evening - when it's not too hot and you can find parking! Right along the ocean you get great views and can sometimes peak into the neighboring hotels. Beware of people in bicycles, though they are pretty careful of walkers.

If you love nature, this boardwalk is not to be missed! I love walks and hikes so this outing was right up my alley. I just couldn't get enough of the dunes or the water. I cannot wait to go and explore again. It was truly breathtaking!

This is a wonderful facility. It goes quite literally for miles. You can walk from 24th street where we joined it right the way down.

The Boardwalk has been a wonderful addition to South Beach. It's one of the best ways to fully enjoy South Beach -- on one side you have the natural dunes with native vegetation , palms, and flowers, with views of sand and surf, and beautiful people. On the other side you have the pulsing excitement of hotels, pool bars, with... More

The boardwalk was just outside the ocean entrance to our hotel, so was a Citi Bike station. It was a fun ride and we saw very interesting people along the way. We would definitely do it again the next time we are in Miami Beach.

This walk is between the beach and all the hotels near the beach. It is a nice walk. More to the south it is allowed for bikers so you have to take that into account when you walk there. Near Middle Beach bikers are not allowed. Boardwalk is closed after 12.00 hours till 05.00 AM. It is safe had no... More

Watch the sunrise as you stroll along the walk way or use it to walk to the various restaurants rather than the busy street. Only thing I did not expect was the cats.. and I mean a lot of cats:)

Loved this board walk. Might be hard to bicycle on the weekends due to the crazy amount of people. Regardless, great for people watching, exercising, or just burning time in Miami.
