We had to wait 2 hours until they told us that they have barriers and won't let you go beyond were we had planned to go. The "free valet" was a completely wrong and they tried scamming us as well and taking our money.

January 2021 My girlfriend and I rented the jet ski for an hour and got a tour. All the other reservations cancelled because of the coolish weather (us NYers didnt care as much abt the weather). Jose was our guide and was wonderful. Gave us a great tour and was no less entertaining even though he was giving the tour to just the two of us. Highly recommend.

We booked the “do it all“ jet-ski and snorkeling tour through our hotel concierge. This was a below average experience all the way around. First, the instructions told us to be there at least an hour early. We were at the marina exactly an hour early, but no employees could be found. So we sat. Another couple came shortly thereafter, but still no employees. An employee finally showed up about 40 minutes later. Telling us to be there an hour early and then being 40 minutes late is unacceptable, frankly. The employees had us fill out some paperwork and gave us minimal instructions. There are no bathroom facilities available, and we had to hike down the street to use the restroom before departing on our tour. He then told us that there would be no snorkeling but that we’d get more time on the jet ski. The jetski was beaten up and literally had duct tape holding down the storage compartment. After some basic instructions on operating the jetski, the tour guide took off like a bat out of hell. He pointed out some homes on Star Island and then took off again like a bat out of hell towards the middle of Biscayne Bay. Some people might find that thrilling, but we found it unsafe and struggled to keep up. The tour guide then gave us 20 minutes to play around in the bay. That was okay but it really seemed like tour “filler.” The guide then let us through the port of Miami, under the interstate bridge, and into the ocean. He then took off like a bat out of hell again, leaving us behind as we struggled to deal with large wakes made from other boats and waves from the ocean. Frankly, I felt unsafe (and my 15-year-old daughter was nervous). The guide was so far ahead of us that there would be no way he could see if we were in trouble. I would not use this operator again. And novice jetskiers should be wary about whether this tour is suitable for them.

Ugh, really would not recommend. The customer service was just generally off, starting with when we arrived -- blank stares from the staff/minimal communication. One guy was eating dates or something during check-in, no masks, and it was just really weird. The length of the tour and whether or not you were getting one jet ski vs. two was confusing at booking as well. (To clarify for others who may be confused, the price is for one jet ski, but you can ride tandem. If you're a couple and you each want your own jet ski, you'll have to make two separate reservations and the price is double. Also, the tour is either 60 minutes or 90 minutes -- I'm still not sure exactly how long it was supposed to be). Additionally, the tour was supposed to be structured as part "tour" and part free-range riding. That was basically true... but I wouldn't exactly call the tour portion of things anything formal. The guide takes you around Star Island and yells out where a few famous people live, and that's about it (also, two people fell off their jet ski during this "tour" and the guide didn't even notice and just kept moving on). Then you're on your own to ride which sounds great, but if you aren't super familiar with jet skis you might run into some issues like we did. After about 10 minutes of riding on our own, our jet ski starting making a loud beeping sound accompanied by a flashing warning sign that said "LOW FUEL." This made us pretty nervous (especially because there were lots of yachts moving at full speed all around us). We weren't sure how much fuel we had left and our guide was no where to be found so we headed back to the main deck. No one was there and we couldn't easily drop off jet ski and get off (we were also afraid of damaging it and getting charged an exorbitant fee) so I decided to call the main office on my cell phone. No answer, multiple times. After 10-15 minutes, someone answered, I explained the situation and they sent someone out to meet us at the dock. I re-explained to him what was going on and he basically treated us like we were stupid -- saying that the beeping and flashing "WARNING, LOW FUEL" was no big deal and that we would have at least two hours more of driving time. Okay -- that's all fine, but why not tell us that before letting us loose? How would we know that a red flashing/beeping warning of low fuel was no big deal? After our conversation with this dude, we decided to go back out and scoot around for another 20 minutes or so before being shuttled back in. The experience was fine I guess (even if we lost a significant portion of the ride), but I would never recommend it to a friend or family member. It was overall not very professional and we felt unsafe for a significant portion of it.

I walked in to this place around 3:30 pm to rent a jet ski, the guy told me the next time available was 6 pm I agreed and filled out the waiver and paid $163.90 for a hour. I came back around 5:40 pm with plenty time for my 6 pm reservation. When I meet the guy again he told me that he was sorry that my reservation was overbooked and was rented to someone else. He offered me to come back the next day and pay a discounted rate, I said, ok but how much is the discount?and he said no you already paid...it doesn't make sense. I decided for the refund a walk away. Bottom line, this place doesn't care about customer service, poor service and bad experience.
