We had been to South Beach Miami a dozen times and never really found good restaurants that did not rip you off. Sol was a wonderful and highly intelligent tour guide. She gave a wonderful insight into the making of Lincoln Road and its environs from ruins and „urinals‘ to beautiful Art Deco Lincoln Road as it is today. She guided us to restaurants we would have never found on our own. We particularly liked the Peruvian and the Cuban ones and have already booked both to go back to. The restaurants visited were all within a square mile of Lincoln Road and even the touristic Espaniola Way became less of a tourist trap when we strolled along it during a sunny afternoon. Finishing off at the Frieze ice cream parlour where you were allowed to taste as many ice creams as you liked, it was a wonderful 3 and 1/2 hours delight. Highly recommended.

Due to COVID the tour is down to 4 businesses. Books and Books samples were vegan and at room temperature/cool. Chalan on Beach had a cool ceviche with shrimp and fish and a beef stir fry with rice to showcase their Peruvian heritage. Bella Cuba was the best stop offering several hot items. The final stop was Frieze ice cream. All the food was included in the ticket price but a small scoop of hohum flavors for $5 would be overpriced.

Sol was personable and paid attention to each visitor.

Lana was a great guide with tons of energy and information. We went to 5 places and enjoyed delicious samples of the local cuisine. We took the tour our first night in Miami which provided us with a few places to go back to for dinner during our stay. Highly recommend!

We learned so much about Cuban culture and food. There was a lot of delicious food and a lot of great conversation. I think it is mainly because our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the country and the food. I would do it all over again.

Awesome food tour. I learned a lot about the food scene and history of the city of Miami. Our tour guide, Richie, kept it fun and entertaining also. The food was also really good. I will definitely do this again and will recommend this to future visitors.

The foodtour starts at the oldest Bookstore in Miamibeach. Richie was our guide and he was very friendly and professional. He told us so much about Miami and the delicious food. We walked through the beautiful streets of SoBe and went to 5 restaurant. At The Cuban restaurant we had absolutely amazing good food and Cuban coffee . My 19 year old daughter loved the donut shop and the icecream shop. Our advise : enjoy this foodtour , learn about Miami and have some great food! And hopefully you have Richie as your guide, cause he made it a tour i would definately do again!

I read the reviews about this tour in advance and bought the tour on Groupon for six of my girlfriends and I for my birthday weekend. I could not have been happier with Juanita, our tour guide, whom was very well-spoken on not only the food tour - but the history of Miami. We had an amazing walking tour of everything from art museums to art décor buildings to Miami culture and nature. It was definitely a highlight for me for my birthday and I would not hesitate to recommend. Juanita is a gem - warm, energetic, knowledgeable and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and would do it again in heartbeat. FYI, we had one full vegetarian in our group - and they completely accommodated her flawlessly. A must-do if your in Miami and even remotely like food, culture or history...

We have done food tours in several cities and think this is the first thing you should do when visiting a city! You get a good overview/history of the city, as you walk you get "the lay of the land", and you figure out the best restaurants to go to for dinner later! Our tour of South Beach did not disappoint! Our guide was very knowledgable and friendly! We sampled at 3 food restaurants, all of which were sit down samplings, a coffee/pastry location, and a dessert location. We learned a lot about the history of South Beach. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Miami/South Beach area!

Saw the excellent reviews. Didn't have much time in Miami and wanted to sample a great variety of international foods available in the city. And learn something about the city and its heritage along the way.

The 5 food stops were all quite delicious. Novelty 'book' store, Cuban pastry & coffee, Peruvian cheviche, homemade ice cream. Shows off what Miami has to offer.

The tour itself is not much beyond that. How the food scene has evolved. What the latest trends are now. What are the choices in the so many little ethnic areas in Miami. (Little Haiti, for instance) None of that is explained in the tour.

Really would have helped to have a native Miami person or someone who has spent many years in the city that can explain the rich passion of Miami food.

Hi Kevin, We're happy to hear you enjoyed the food on the tour and appreciated our selection as a representation of Miami today! I'm sorry to hear you didn't receive the recommendations for Miami's emerging ethnic areas. You were likely on our SoBe Tour des Forks which takes pride on its focus of South Beach and its culinary, cultural, historic and architectural influences. There is so much to share about Miami that we have to focus on the neighborhood we are in. All of Miami Food Tours' guides (whether born and bred or transplants) are happy to provide recommendations on our favorite things to do around Miami, simply ask. Safe Travels and Buen Provecho! This was such a great experience!!! We went on the "Swooped with Forks" tour - which was a little bit more expensive but sooooo worth it!!!
Our tour guide was Faruk and the driver was Pedro.
Faruk knew all about the history of Miami and the restaurants which made it really interesting - I would definitely recommend him to anyone! He is very friendly and really knew what he was presenting!
Pedro was also a great driver of the golf cart along the streets of SoBe!
This tour is great - something different from your average tour around Miami - plus you get to eat amazing food - and lots of it!!!

Put this in your Itinerary next time you travel to Miami SoBe!
