I have lived on Miami Beach for many years and have heard about this tour before but it wasnt until a relative from California insisted that I do the tour with her that I finally took the time to do this wonderful tour. They took us from one art deco place to the other on South Beach and told us... More

Tour guide James Cubby kept us captivated in this 2.5 hour tour that included really interesting history of Miami Beach as well as Art Deco architecture history. My grandson (and I) loved hearing the ups and downs of the city and how it was revitalized. I feel very grateful to the woman who started the movement to save these beauties... More

Well, as others have mentioned, meeting Calvin made us wonder what the next two hours would be like. It turned out to be a very worthwhile tour, especially because of the opportunity to go into (and through) a number of old or renovated hotels that maintained their art deco heritage. We went up to the rooftop of 3-4 hotels and... More

I have recently been obsessed with the Art Deco back in LA so when planning my trip to Miami, an Art Deco Walking tour was the first thing I researched. The reason I chose this company was due to the fact that it had two time options per day, which worked out better for my schedule. James led our 5pm... More

This is a great tour - fun and historically interesting. My husband, adult daughter and I took this tour with Christine back in March. We booked it last minute and online. There was a bit of a mix-up and we waited at the designated place without a tour guide appearing. After calling the office - Christine, the owner, raced over... More

Last week we visited Miami Beach and took an Art Deco tour. Calvin was our tour guide and he did such a nice job! We learned so much about the history of Miami and South Beach. Would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the South Beach area.

Can I say the tour was a 10? Had so much fun and learned a lot. Didn't have any interest for art deco, but you get to appreciate the design and history of Miami. James was an amazing tour guide.

Nice intro to Miami Beach & walk covered the history of development of Miami Beach, the Art Deco influence & the mafia / speakeasy history - very informative. Nice access to rooftop restaurants & pool areas with guide - saw parts of Miami high life would be hard to see. Highlight was the hidden casinos in some of the hotels.

Jim G, you got it absolutely right! Miami is full of surprises. Unless you live and love here, you would not even imagine all these hidden places, unique bars and rooftops, casinos and hangout spots really exist. We take pride in taking members on a real journey though the area and showcasing the most magnificent architecture that reveals its beauty... More

With very little knowledge about art deco or any architectural designs, I still signed up for this tour to gain some insight into the history of Miami Beach, including the art and architecture of the area. The tour did not disappoint and was presented in a way that was extremely interesting and understandable for a novice like myself. Examples of... More

Awsome tour. We had James on a Sunday afternoon and were the only ones on the tour. His knowledge and passion of the architecture of that time period was evident, passing along historical and fun facts throughout the tour. Don't need to be an architecture fan to enjoy. Would do it again for sure. Note of advice about the South... More

32Kirk, thank you for your review! Indeed, South Beach is not for everyone. However, as a boutique tour operator, we aim to satisfy the pickiest client. For those who would rather stay away from the Beach vibes, we offer Little Havana tours. The tour lasts 3h and led by one of the best tour guide in the city. It is... More
