We had a great tour seeing and learning about Little Havana and sampling from local small businesses. Our tour guide, Danny, had a great sense of humor and has lived in the community for many years, so he was very knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing his town with us! We learned about some Cuban history that influenced the area, and visited a fruit stand, bakery, cigar rolling shop, ice cream parlor, clothing shop, saw lots of local mural art and had a delicious Cuban lunch! Highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I took the the 10am tour. Our tour guide, Janinha Piazzetta was great. Very knowledgeable and you can tell she really loves her job and always looking for a nugget of info concerning the Art Deco area, leaving no stone unturned. It was a beautiful day and not that hot but with that said , my husband I brought a small back pack with water in it and glad we did. We walked long and far enough to drink a couple of bottles a piece. They were ice cold which help keep us cool. I do recommend this tour!

Fun and informative with a great guide who's been around to know lots of history. We were late, having underestimated the walk from our car. I tried to call the Essex House and wasn't convinced they told the guide. Anyway James was gracious about our lateness, thank you for that. The Essex House was loud, with people carrying on outside (that's South Beach) but also an employee vacuuming inside. James asked him to hold off until he was done talking (we were at a nearby table in the lobby) and he obliged, sort of. The stroll was hot but he paused us in shady areas when possible. We learned alot and he has pictures to show of 'before and after' demonstrating the changes in style and condition of buildings over the years. He was funny and knowledgeable. Bring some cold water

Our guide - Jordan - was excellent, even in the middle of a storm. Very knowledgeable and gave a great overview of the culture + history + politics of the Cuban immigrants in Miami. Also, the food and drinks were very good. There's not a whole lot of walking so it is comfortable for everybody.
