People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.

The beautiful people, the good food, the good bars are all gone! Not the same ambiance that it used to have.

South Beach is more for partying and couples than for families. Very busy vicinity, especially on Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue. Lots of bars and restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. I love getting Cuban food in Miami! Parking can be expensive unless you can get...More

Enjoyed my time on the beach. I rented a chair and umbrella from Amaan Janey. He was kind and professional.

We loved staying at South Beach, we had lots of restaurants, shops and offcourse the beach, in walking distanse! The beach was clean, and the water was calmer than we've experienced in Europe.

If you like terrible service, inflated prices, filthy streets, nowhere to park, empty storefronts, vagrants and the homeless and plenty of ghetto culture, come on down to South Beach, once called the American Riviera and now just living on past glory....

When we arrived we took a sip of cuban coffee, walked along the South Beach pier, went for a swim, layed down for a twenty minute tan, and proceeded to lunch . As a family of five with three children, we enjoyed our visit. Next...More

South Beach is all about the party! Bars and restaurants are open all day and just about all night. I'm in my 50's and went with my parents. We would go there for lunch and walks along the strip or beach. They loved it. I...More

White sands and warm water, I could stay here all day long! Bring a book, snacks, sunscreen, beach towels, a beach umbrella and you're set. Music is optional. PS. If you don't bring sunscreen, they have free sunscreen dispensers at some beach entrances before you...More

It's all expensive. You would have to go outside of Miami to get food where they don't add all the taxes in the history known to man kind. But there is a lot of nice gay bars in the area on the strip of Collins St and the... More
