People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.

This was our first time experiencing South Beach, and we were awed at times by the diversity, the beauty, and the money. Beautiful place, great experience, just be ready to get out your credit card.

Stopped there to see the Art Deco area. Old hotels and life guard beach houses. Many breakfast and lunch spots along the way. Parking is difficult to find. Nice area to visit and even hit the beach. The restaurants may charge 20% gratuity and 9%...More

The taxes, service charge and tips added on to everything makes the whole Ocean Drive/South Beach experience very expensive indeed. Beautiful buildings though, lovely beach and boardwalk

Lovely sand and beach though very dark in the evening. Would be better if the path alongside was actually alongside the beach and not separated by trees and plants to make for a more pleasant walk. Could do with better lighting in evening.

Great scene, lots of restaurants and bars and safe. Shops close late, 12 pm, so we had time to buy a few items we did not have time to buy during the day. Very busy street with lots of action...

It's a decent beach for people to do whatever they do in beaches. Sun, sand, waves. They place free sunscreen in many places which is a plus. Had facility to change clothes. To shower out the sand after taking a dip in the sea.

You can travel along South Beach either on the sidewalks or by beach. Either way, you are bound to see things that would only reside in Miami Beach. Its a very safe area and we never felt as if we would be in danger. Would...More

Fun all day except early morning from the looks of it. Fun to people watch n soak in vibe. We stayed v near the beach front. It was more expensive but also enabled us to have more time to explore.

SLS hotel has great parties, i would email this hotel and few other party venues 1-2 months before and get tickets to 1 venue at least : they usually sell out quickly !
