Still fun to visit with lots going on during the year in addition to the massive art fair. Despite the aggressive hustling, some of the sidewalk cafes are fun people watching venues.

I visit South Beach often and enjoy all the amenities it has to offer. If you stay in a hotel a few blocks from the ocean, prices are moderate. The walk and a beach access is great. The sand is not as fine as the...More

Do not pass on visiting South Beach. It is a must. A teeny bit like Santa Monica/Venice Beach California, this area is way too cool. The restaurants alone is mind boggling, from real pricy to very reasonable. Shops are delightful with cutting edge designs. Art...More

South Beach is always fun, no matter what time you go there. The beach itself is nice and along the blocks there are lots of bars and restaurants.

Yes, the beaches are open and the weather is great now. A little on the cool side for locals (high 70's - low 80's) but the water's fine and there are lots of people on the beaches.

Miami Beach South was unpleasant. Seaweed everywhere and the water smelled like dead fish. I would recommend to call the hotel where you will be staying for accurate advice.
