Collins is the next parallel street from Ocean Drive. This is where you will see the entrances to all the hotels whose eateries are on Ocean Drive. You will see many, many exotic and luxury cars, shops and people everyway. It's a busy street with a better line of stores than the cheapies on Ocean Drive.

What a vast stretch! great to explore from end to end. Just hop on a free ride (trolley) or hop the local bus. Great food, different options. Good shopping options

We went shopping on Collins after arriving in south beach. I thought we would have great selection etc. The stores were fine, but nothing that I thought stood out. No great deals, nor unique finds. But you can shop.

Collins Ave is busy but the buzz is more reserved. Still a happening spot but not the crazy party zone.
