On one side of the building you can get a map or rent a bike tour complete with bike, helmet & audio tour of Art Deco Miami. On the other side is a souvenir store like no other. We received lots of local information at the desk including good restaurant suggestions. The museum was interesting and prepared us for the upcoming 90 minute walking tour. We were able to use the clean restrooms, visit the funky gift shop where we bought $1 water bottles to take along. The tour was at 6:30 pm when it was a bit... More

If you are in SoBe and interested in the Art Deco history & restoration, this is a good place to start. It's only a $5 entry and it only takes a half hour to watch a couple of videos and look at some exhibits but well worth it. Some great old photos. Nice and cool too!

Such a nice find an respite from the humidity and sun. Just a 5$ fee for a ton of information. 2 informative videos to see about how the restoration got started, who started it and when. Quite a few relics from the past inside this museum which will take you back to the "good old days". Great clean bathrooms. Don't... More

They checked ahead to make sure I could access the tour in my wheelchair. The welcome center houses a museum about the the different types of Art Deco buildings and their history, Take this tour.

excellent walking tours at 10.30am each day by local experts. our guide Marty was informing and amusing and a great host. $27 I think for an adult ticket for two hours of art deco architecture and history. wonderful. you can't enjoy south Beach properly without this intro to the area

Do not miss this place, in a great area easily walkable along the boardwalk. A museum shop had some great stuff. I liked the video telling the history of the restorations

Happened to stop in because hotel was directly across the street. Already was aware of the obvious tourist attractions but came across a card on display advertising Little Havana's monthly street fair which only happens on the last Friday of the month. My sister and I went that evening and thoroughly enjoyed the music, art displays, and atmosphere. Without the... More

We learned so much about the art deco period, as well as the history of Miami Beach in general. The 90 minute, 10:30 AM tour went by quickly, because our guide was so interesting and entertaining.
