Great beach!
Everyone is so friendly, the sand is the softest and the best ever. Their is rental chairs and cabanas and food vendors both in the textile (clothed) and nude beach area. Nude beach on the north end. Restrooms and shower along the service road. People play, sunbath, jog, swim and wade here. Love it.

We got an Uber here from South Beach. It didn't look like it had a lot of parking. The water wasn't real rough on this day, but it was still interesting to watch the boats go in and out. There were lots of trees for shade and even picnic tables for sitting. Lots of families gathered here for picnics. The wavy boat and haulover camera crews were there with their drones. Neat place to visit. I would go here again.

First of all, I love Haulover Beach and both North and South Miami Beaches. So I was super disappointed to see the Haulover Beach shore covered with sargassum. I don't mean a little here or a little there. The beach is covered with large mats of it!!!! Its a horrible brown looking color. To me, from a distance, it looks like floating doo-doo in blue crystal clear water. BTW: There is no smell. They say its safe to swim in. However, a heard on a local TV news reporter warning swimmers to beware of jelly fish because they get tangled up in it as well as other things.

The current is very strong. Do not suggest using this in whimpy lil power boat, canoe or kayak. Not for a motorless sailboat unless you are a very very good tacker and have fairly strong wind

For anyone wanting to enjoy a beautiful beach in a back to nature sort of way please visit this beach. I also want to suggest you eat at the BNB Cafe. I would come here just for the burgers! Out of this world!

What a freeing experience to find this beach in the middle of the Miami metropolis. To be legally nude at a beach and sun and swim without molestation from conformers. Well this is an unexpected great time. Don’t forget the right side is strait the left is gay. And bring lots of sun screen. No one needs burnt buns.

We had 4 beautiful days at this beach - people were very friendly and it was fun to walk up and down the beach. There were nice washrooms at the entrance. Parking was very easy as well - $6 per day. Bring what you need as there is only one small concession on the beach. Please be careful though, on the last day we were there, our car was broken into. There was no indication of force-able entry so we didn't even realize what had happened until we got back to our condo and discovered that all of our cash and credit cards were stolen :(. At least the thieves were nice enough to leave my husband's driver licence and health card. It seems pretty obvious now, but just bring whatever cash you need for the day (and don't leave anything in the car).

The Inlet itself serves as a way for boaters to get out into the ocean, or visa versa if they keep their boat in the Intercostal. This borders a wonderful dog park as well as a dog beach on certain days, when you can let your pooch romp free. There are hoses to wash them up after a swim and nice roll in the sand as well, and adequate parking. If you are shy or get offended easily, stay away from the rest of Haulover Beach as it's a nude beach an is posted as one with warning signs. If you are curious, go take a look. Lots of families enjoy this way of "beaching it", as well as groups of friends.

What a truly lovely spot. The fisherman bring their catch to be cleaned and scaled and the pelicans crowd around for the leftovers. A unique trailer-shop rents and sells kites and children of all ages are captivated. And if you enjoy watching or chartering boats of all kinds and sizes, this is the place. Highly recommended

hi
Due over in November would love to stay in this area and as far up as the pier what would you recommend.
Not into big hotels like to stay places small and personal.
Would like good transport links as not having a car this time over.
We do like our water sports and husband is into fishing.
How do you recommend getting from airport.
Sorry for all the questions.
Thank you now for your advice in advance .

There are a lot of small vacation rental places for rent in the area. If you do not want to rent a cr I would get an uber from
The airport and then check the local free trolley services that goes around the beach.
Hope you have a great vacation!!!
