I booked a catamaran tour for a group of 8 people for a bachelorette about 3 months in advance. The day before our tour I got a phone call saying that our boat had been overbooked and that we’d now be on a shared party barge. I told the man on the phone that we had paid for the catamaran and really wanted to stay on the catamaran package, so I’d take a look on the website and see if this new package he was proposing would work. I hung up and after browsing the party barge option I texted the company that we’d like to stick with the catamaran, but he just replied “sold out.” I asked for more information via text and never got a response. The phone line says they don’t pick up the phones, just text them. I probably sent 10 text messages and no one replied. At this point I had no idea if we even had a boat at all for the trip. I was praying I wasn’t out $700. We just showed up to the port hoping for the best. Thankfully, they did indeed put us on a boat, but it was not the one we originally booked. We had a great time, but honestly it was a pretty rocky customer service experience that created a lot of stress for me. They could improve their customer service by 10x. If you’ve got a big group that you’re trying to organize for, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

First off, I will say that the staff are very nice and we all felt very safe. Now on to the major fails 1) we were packed on to a modestly sized boat with another party of 16 people, of which we were not advised of before hand, so for the safety of all we pretty much kept to separate sides of the boat and it was very tight. 2nd fail was that in the description of the 4 hour excursion, it was said that once we arrived at the "island" a BBQ would be provided as part of our $84 payment - there was no food provided. Again something that should have been disclosed to us prior, so we could have been prepared. Now, If the price was $30 a ticket for warm bud lights, expired kid sized potato chips, and a crowded small boat ride to a small pile of sand 5 mins from the marina, this review would have been a 5 star-er!!

After the coordinator called and texted on several occasions to confirm our trip, the boat still arrived at the dock 30 minutes late. The deejay was mediocre with cheap equipment and wanted to charge for requests. I'm sure anyone on the boat could have connected with an aux cord and done a better job. The food was not as advertised, but the tacos were okay.

I called about a week prior to the date we booked to find out if there were any actions that needed to be taken prior to the trip. When I spoke with someone on the phone they stated that the pickup details would be confirmed 72 hours prior. When no communication was given 72 hours prior, I decided to call 24 hours prior to the date of the trip and was told that pickups were cancelled due to COVID. Totally understandable, however it would’ve been great to have been told that the first 2 times I called. Had I not reached out, I would’ve never known, and the confirmation email also states nothing about that. Still I was willing to follow through on the booking. On the day of the boat party, I arrived 15 minutes early to pay the remainder of our balance, at the request of the person I spoke to the day prior. There was one small sticker on the floor indicating where to stand, after standing in the sun until 11am, when the trip should’ve been taking place, and calling the given phone number over 15 times with no answer, I was given a call back around 11:05 am. The caller, Bobby, was rude and dismissive, when I asked how much longer we would have to wait he literally said “I don’t know, just wait there”. Of course I left. I’m giving one star because they did process a refund without me asking to, but I would’ve much rather given zero stars.

The cancelled the trip 45 minutes before departure time because they said there wasn’t enough people. He kept making excuses on the phone and then said he could make arrangements for us to go on another boat of theirs. We checked in several times but after 3 hours finally went with a different company. As soon as we said we were going with another company he said the boat was magically ready and that it was too bad. He wasted hours of our day and lied several times on the phone. Huge disappointment.

I went on this excursion about 6 years ago and it was so fun! We cruised around for a little then stopped off at this little island where a bunch of other boats were docked up. There was food and some drinks provided. The listing says domestic drinks and soft drinks and light food but all there was was this time was water and small chip bags.
This time around: The island they bring you to is VERY rocky and not really enjoyable to swim in. There is one floating mat and 1 trampoline, no paddle boards. Additionally, there was no other boats so you're stuck with the random people in your group. I don't think I would do this excursion again.

Dec 2019 • Family
The entire extended family was planning an extended weekend together. The highlight of the trip was taking out a boat and doing water activities together, to cater to all 25 people. The guy takes our deposit, we spoke numerous times, we agreed that based on weather we would be flexible, etc. On Thursday morning when we spoke to Bobbie, we decided to take the boat that day, instead of the original planned day of Friday. He says I'm waiting for the coast guard so my boat can pass inspection, usually takes a few minutes. At 12 pm he says they're in middle of inspection so be there at the dock at 1.00 pm. We get there, in 4 Uber's, and we can't find him. He finally shows up and says boat didnt pass inspection sorry. Let's try for tomorrow. We asked for the boss, chris, who showed up with a massive hangover. He gave us back our deposit. And he gave us a free shuttle ride back to our home base. But we were still without a plan for the major part of our family vacation. We flew into Miami from all over. We had to start all over researching a boat company. We found a reputable company for the next day and we had a really nice time. Do not book with these guys! Then they send me an email asking for a review, well here u go! The truth.

As me and my group were about to leave for this experience, we received a call (about 40 minutes prior) that there weren’t enough people and that this would have to be postponed. Bobby offered to take us on a smaller boat “if it worked”. He recommended us to another boat adventure but we wanted to wait to see if the boat worked to make a reservation. We called several time over the course of 2 hours to see if his boat was working, and he kept telling us that “he was on his way” and that “he would let us know”. After we eventually booked on his recommendation, he immediately called and said the boat was working. We flew in specifically for this, and he wasted our time and was all around unprofessional. Would not recommend at all.

Overall, I was disappointed in this excursion. Some of the friends I was with did this trip in the past and said how great it was for the price and what was included. The price has gone up (expected), but a lot of the stuff has been taken away, despite it being advertised on the site. The site states we receive domestic drinks, soda, water and snacks (in the past they did a BBQ).
The morning of the trip, we were put into a group text message (unprofessional) saying they would not be providing wine or beer and it was BYOB and that snacks (small bags of chips), ice, and coolers would be provided. When we got to the boat, we were never shown where the ice, coolers or snacks were. They did provide a DJ, which was fun and said that is why we didn't have alcohol, but that is not what was advertised.
Pool toys were included, but it was 2 rafts for about 5 groups. We also were never briefed on any safety things - where life vests were, etc. The "private island" was a small beach with a bunch of these party boats. Finally, the communication leading up to the trip was very poor. There is a phone number you can that either just hangs up or goes to a machine that says to text them for everything. Trying to get one person added took 3 days and then when I got there he seemed annoyed with me.
We had fun because of the group I was with, but from what I heard this was in the past to now just didn't seem to match. We were willing to pay what we were because of what was supposed to be offered.

Overall it was a nice time because of my group. They didn’t provide food like stated on site. Which was very frustrating Bc all they had was off brand chips. They provide box wine and beer, but it was like they picked the cheapest for everything. They where late getting us in the boat. The only pulled out one floaty that was ripped. Overall I had a good time because at that point I didn’t wanna fuss, but I would ask questions before booking with them.

What kind of drinks are supplied by the company? Beer & Wine brands?
Written July 19, 2018
Beer (but wiser) and house wine. You are allowed to bring your own liquor or whiskey
Written July 19, 2018
Hi, why do you say to bring cash? Isn't the beer and wine included?
Written May 10, 2018
Yeah bring cash, they appreciate a tip at the end. And honestly they’re worth tipping. I’d bring my own alcohol and food too. We brought rum and tall boys as well as sandwiches.

I've bought my ticket with a down payment yesterday, for this Saturday the 27th. At what time should I show up to pay the difference? & can I bring the Jell-O shots I made?
Written May 24, 2017
They say to show up a half hour early at the pier. I'm sure the Jell-O shots won't be a problem, we took a cooler onboard the boat.
