We took the 90 minute tour, expertly piloted and guided by Lorenzo. He gave of his wide knowledge of the Everglades, introduced us to three gators along the way, plus a turtle and several of his bird friends who accompanied us throughout, for the price of a few handfuls of birdseed. Thrilling to skim and slide through the wetlands at impressive speed, but always very safely.
The tours are at some distance from civilisation, with the meeting point 12 miles down a fairly good road into the glades, but that makes it all the more real. And only 10 in the airboat too. On the way to it you'll pass more gaudy looking tour companies which mostly seem to involve much larger and more impersonal airboats. We were glad we chose this one. Highly recommended.

My husband and I loved this staycation experience! Our tour guide Gus was AMAZING and so knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. And talk about FUN drifting!!! That was so awesome! We went on the 7:30 am airboat tour and the weather was perfect! We got to see alligators and birds, so early morning is definitely an ideal time to see them as they’re waking up to the morning dew. Everyone in the team was very polite and helpful. We will definitely use this tour company again. Don’t hesitate to book!

Ozzy was the best tour guide we could have asked for. He knew the glades like the back of his hand and gave us some awesome history factoids about the glades and Native Americans.
We only saw a small gator that day, but Ozzy tried his best to show us a bigger one. Unfortunately you can’t control nature though. Although his other interactions with the natives of the glades was astonishing! ( Dont want to give it all away! ) Ozzy was down to earth, knowledgeable and incredibly nice! I recommend this for anyone that doesn’t want a touristy type air boat experience. I literally felt like I was going out with an old friend. We had an incredible time and an unforgettable experience!

This tour/company is amazing. Did the semi private 4 person 1hr tour and would definitely come back again. Feel bad I cannot remember my captain but he was outstanding. Staff blew my mind away with the knowledge not only of the area but to be able to field so many questions about the ecology of the region was impressive- an educational experience worth every penny.

Touring the grassy plains of the Everglades - you see incredible wildlife and plant life. Seeing gators is hit or miss, the weather and sunlight will impact this (sunnier days the gators will come out more to sunbathe). But even only seeing 1 gator (7am on a cool January morning) this was a remarkable experience to see a part of nature one doesn’t often get to see.

Remember to keep in mind there are many different ecosystems of the Everglades, this takes you through the most predominate feature in the grassy prairies. To see other features such as the mangroves, cypress forest, hardwood and pinewood forests, one must drive to different corners of this vast national park to experience the different types of ecosystems. There is no guarantee you will see a gator, however, if you go in with an open mind to learn and have a rare experience to be on a fan boat in this amazing park, this is the trip for you.

Bring your windbreaker/zip up hoodie, bug spray (winter you can get by w/o it), sunglasses and an open mind. Follow the directions to the location they provide you, not Google Maps and it will bring you directly there (current construction on the levee makes it seem weird but you’re in the right place).

Really excellent. Although a swamp boat tour was our first choice, availability dictated we take a swamp buggy tour instead. It was an excellent 4+ hours. Ozzie was a great guide; knowledgeable with loads of entertaining personal anecdotes. Though not cheap, I would say the tour was excellent value based on the quality and length of the tour. We won't hesitate to book again next time we are nearby. Hopefully Ozzie will be available for a swamp boat tour!

My husband and I and our 8 year old son went on this tour. It far surpassed our expectations and delivered exactly what I was hoping for - and more.

We wound up with a very cold morning, when reptiles usually go underground for warmth. Our guide brought the whole area to life and helped us to value the incredible ecosystem as a whole. So while we loved seeing the alligator itself (he managed to find us one given the challenging weather) - it became less about the alligator and more about the story of the place - the history, the flora and the wildlife.

We were captivated and we all learned something. We drove out afterwards having a newfound appreciation and fascination for the area.

Book these guys. Skip the other tourist traps that may offer more modern conveniences but the experience just doesn't compare (we went to one of them afterward and the contrast was stark).

Our family, including two teenagers and my 74 year old father, took this tour. Our guide told us a lot about the Everglades and showed us birds, fish and an alligator. We had a great time, and the air boat is really fun. It's a personalized experience rather than a commercial one, like many others appear to be. Booking and getting there was very easy.

Ours was the 60 minute trip, but it felt longer. In addition to it simply being joyful, our guide, Lorenzo, stopped multiple times to teach us about the Everglades and why it's important to respect it. The whole team was friendly, professional, flexible and attentive . Highly recommended.

The Everglades Airboat tour is entertaining and educational. A fun way to learn about the ecosystem. Surprised by the experience coming from the National Parks Services. The staff was friendly and engaging. The live show is fun for kids and adults alike. Kids learned about the crocodiles and alligators co-habiting in the Everglades and many exciting factors. Definitely worth the money.

We did a private tour with Lou at the everglades Safari Park. First of all, the cost for a private tour was very reasonable. Second, our private tour captain was just wonderful. He did not just focus on finding gators; he showed us the local plant life including invasive species. He discussed the original Indigenous peoples of the area, something very important to two Indigenous people from Alaska. Lou was very well informed of the story of the everglades, the people, plants and animals. Lou also took the time to find us some very beautiful blooming flowers. Alligators were scarce that day and it was. extremely hot and humid - Somehow Lou found us some gators and he let us watch them for a good amount of time; something very exciting for two Alaska Natives! Lou was wonderful and we appreciated him tremendously. Great tour guide, great fun and we highly recommend this tour. Try to get Lou as your guide.
